I wish I could change other people’s decks. like maybe let us personalize a deck? most decks that are made by others have spelling mistakes or incorrect information and it would be easier to be able to fix them than to just make a whole new deck. also, I don’t like the “do you remember this card” questions. I’d rather you just quiz me on the card and see if I get it wrong or not. when you allow me to see both sides of the card, how am I supposed to know if I remember it?

Works well, but no longer alines with Duolingo

The flash card sections used to match up perfectly with the Duolingo lessons until Duolingo updated! Now everything is completely different and it’s hard to find the appropriate flash card sections. I would be much happier if both apps updated at the same time so I can effectively use them!

This is a great app for flashcard learning that eases you at a good pace into each card set with different little methods until you thoroughly know the material. There is a lot more to the teaching style than just the "study, flip, shuffle, repeat" like with manual flashcards. The setup is engaging, cute, and very pleasant to look at. There is also a wealth of user flashcards to search through if you are studying a topic but don't want to make your own cards. 1. It is VERY frustrating if you are studying cards with long descriptions or definitions. You have to type out each word and character EXACTLY. I do appreciate the "I was right" button for each card if you get it wrong, but it is irritating to have to repeatedly use it when you know the definition but are tired of taking 5 minutes per card to type out a paragraph 2. I am really grateful for the fun card teaching style, but I really wish there was an option to have the app just shuffle a deck and show each card for you to just quiz yourself without all the added "teaching tools" like the multiple choice selections and the dreaded "type out entire definition." It's great to have such an engaging array of learning methods, but sometimes you just REALLY NEED an option for the app to just let you shuffle a deck and casually go through it on your own while giving you the option with each card to either mark it as "I know this" and be done with that certain card for that rep or to be able to shuffle it back into the cycle to study again during that rep.

Both Duolingo and Tinycards are so great at teaching people how to learn a new language, it amazes me!!!!! The reason I came to this was through a friend of mine.She was learning French and told me about how many languages there are. So I decided to try! Currently, I am on Summer break and will be learning Spanish when school starts up again. I really wanted to learn in advance so I can be ready!! A week in and I already am great at the basics! These flash cards help me in so many ways! They let me study each card and take my time on each and every card. The cards can flip back and forth, so I can memorize everything easily. Not to mention there are lots of different options.You can learn basics, phrases,animals, numbers, questions, verbs and more without an order! One day you can study animals and the next day you can study verbs! The app also lets you go back to the cards and take quizzes to test your skills!! I barely have anything negative to say about this app and how easy and fun it is to learn a new language!! !!!!!SO AMAZING!!!!!
