An Almost Perfect Design

elizaanddarcy

The Timepage and Actions apps are intuitive and very well designed and are well organized visually, it’s easy to move through the calendars, customize colors to your liking and the apps give you many personalization options. It’s an ideal way to look at “today” the past and the future calendar. I find the flow portion of the studio package is not as intuitive and not as purposeful. I wish the flow app would be connected to a daily journal, so it’s more purposeful for daily use, well integrated into the studio altogether. Similar to the Stoic App. But instead it feels like a pointless add-on unless you’re a digital artist by trade. Lastly, I’ve tried the Moleskine Journey Planner App and I find the Timepage/Actions Apps much more intuitive and visually pleasing and organized than the Journey App. My hope is for the developers to one day integrate the planner portion of the journey app (like a daily page for habit tracker, food diary, journaling capabilities) into the Timepage/Actions app. If they did, it would be a perfect digital planner visually, organizationally, and the capabilities to track habits, journal, track to-do list progress and see all events and appointments would be like nothing else in the market offering at this time. Most planning apps are juvenile, and lack a creatives needs for modern and minimal design to keep organized at best. This app is everything a creative would want, but not more, like I said, it’s lacking the daily aspect of a planner and truly is just an app for managing events and tasks. But wouldn’t it be great to have the capabilities all in one place. Moleskine tried doing this with the Journey app, but I don’t find it to be as well designed, as intuitive. My favorite parts of the Journey app are the capabilities of journaling and habit tracking and the food diary. If that could be captured into a daily page within the timepage app, it would achieve all things that a physical planner does. And that’s what’s missing in the app market; a well designed, intuitive app for daily use that serves the purpose of managing events, tasks, and personal development all in one minimal, and modern design for the design-forward user.

amazing app but needs a web version

Great app, love the form and function. I wish there was a web app version or desktop version. Hopefully soon in the future as that would really make the experience perfect.

I don’t understand

I bought the Moleskin studio and now I have to buy a membership too????

Love the look

Joey The Neck

I recently switched to iOS from Android and the Apple calendar in comparison to Google Calendar is night and day in favor of Google. So I decided to try different calendar apps and settled in this one. It’s still quite different but I do like the overall aesthetic of the app and have no major complaints. My only critique right now is when adding or removing calendars, it takes some time to refresh. Shorten that time frame and I’d give this 5 stars.

Best I’ve ever used,but….

R dot A

I love this app. It’s modern, intuitive, sleek yet very simple and seamless. It’s easily the best calendar app I’ve ever used and I’ve used them all. But, and this is a big but for me, I use addresses and locations for scheduling a lot. The fact the the app doesn’t have the ability to remember my frequent locations or allow me to have location favorites to select from and that I have to type in the addresses every time I’m scheduling something is VERY frustrating. Please please please fix that and this for me will complete the awesomeness that is this app.

Calendar widget failing

iPhilosopher

Seems like the calendar widget disappears from every other update. Would be nice if that stopped happening.

They really really don’t want you to try before you buy.

Tntn13

They don’t. Popups constantly. Limited features barely got a look at the UI before I got the sales pitch. These apps seem like something that would be very useful to someone like me. But Out of principle, and bad experience with previous apps of this nature I’m not signing up for this service without trying the app first. Please fix this so I can review the app based on what it’s worth vs the monetization tactics. These kinds of apps it’s important to check for quality of integration and ease of use. In its current state, its impossible without signing up. Sure they say 1 week trial... but cmon at least make it a month. If your product is really so good surely you can afford to do that right?

Mostly amazing

Nathan BareBack

My only criticisms are that it doesn’t always do a good job linking with actions (just updated before reviewing so I will see how the new update goes) I’ve noticed it’s like it doesn’t save my events sometimes after I type them in and save them. For example I was supposed to have an appointment today and I missed it because I thought my day was clear. It was only after my appointment time I realized I forgot about my appointment. Another example is I set an appointment on the same day as Hanukkah but it’s not there anymore. Other than those technical glitches the app is amazing. It lets you set where your event is taking place, set a countdown till that day, add notes to remember, and has a gorgeously designed simplistic visuals and enrapturing haptic feedback. So over all when you stay on point and fall into routine while using this you will question how you ever got by without it.

Fantastic, beautiful, logical

Sigridhr

First off, I love the Timepage app. It’s clean, simple, and uncluttered yet has all the features I need. The controls are intuitive and logical. As an artist I feel the need for beautiful things — being able to color coordinate events is not only useful for organization, but lovely. Even the haptic and sounds are satisfying. With 3 kids I have to have a truly great calendar app and this meets all my needs and more.

Tired of paying to be a beta tester

Tillemetry

Just don’t do it! No customer service- except to explain why they are billing you twice. You may not think that is possible- but try them!
