lasts for less than one-year

..then tell me how you feel about tile!! Tile lasts for one year. after your battery dies - then they make you send in the old in order to “get a new battery” Tile - it’s basically a yearly battery-upgrade subscription!! do you like to pay $25 for a dead battery inside of a $0.05 piece of plastic?? Tile says it’s only $15 to upgrade and re-tile - then they slap you with shipping and handling charges and make you pay for the return shipping to them - which is another $3.50 for first class mail - and that’s as low as I can get the return price. I emailed customer support regarding my perspective that I have on how atrocious this process was overall - forgot to mention that they do bot even provide a return address, absolutely crazy that they can’t put a return label for a mail-order trade in program called “re-tile” this is beyond a joke. wake me up when a decent company comes along and provides a slot for charging the battery. tile already uses an app mandatorily - so, how easy would it be to add a battery level monitor to the tile app, a charging cord, and a waterproof charging slot - just like every other cell phone maker has figured out to do that. I’ve seen other threads where people make excuses for tile saying things like “you cant change the battery because it’s waterproof. that’s utter non-sense. an electronic device being waterproof is not anything new, not is it something that is expensive to include into your design/engineering. please remember, this is hardly a piece of new technology. a local geo tracker? it’s basically the dumbest piece of tech ever - plastic and a chip that can only locate items up to 150ft. so, also wake me up when a decent company comes along and creates an actual GPS chip inside - that has world wide range. other than these complaints - still not happy with this company overall.

Interferes with AirPod connectivity

If you use AirPods along with tile, expect problems. The workaround is to turn on Tile’s access to Bluetooth only when you use this app, and then turn remove its access afterwards to use your AirPods.

Awesome! Helps me find my wallet.

App interferes with AirPods

Georgeslost

This app makes my AirPods not work properly. I have to force close the app for it to work. If you use Bluetooth headphones don't use Tile. They should have inform that if you use Tile you will have problems with your Bluetooth headphones. Update A year later and after numerous updates and cases open the Tile app still interferes with AirPods. To use AirPods correctly you have to turn off Bluetooth access to the app.

Fabulous little item!

We all know that nothing could be better than FINDING YOUR KEYS without an agonizing frustrating 20 minute search!! Same goes for finding my phone. My mom's chihuahua, my little brother, Samson (don't judge) gave me the TILE for Xmas. I don't know how I have lived without it!! I really don't!

Love my Tiles!
