Prices are not refreshed

You’re dealing with stale information most of the time. As I write this review the market has been trading for 1 hour and information is still from yesterday.

Extremely unstable and terrible support

will.wichan

I have been a paid subscriber for several months. The app does not load stock details from time to time. I tried to contact their support but no one has ever responded. After almost 20 hours of complete down time today (unable to show all stock pricing) I have decided to cancel subscription and download another app instead. With 1.99 per month or almost 24 dollars a year, you can find a better deal elsewhere.

Not sure what happened to the stock push alerts?

Tina773990

I’ve used this app for years and have loved it. The stock alerts I’ve set up are no longer working. It shows the alert has triggered in the alerts section but this is the only way you can see them - by actually going into the alerts section instead of receiving the push alert. This has been happening for some time now. If this doesn’t get fixed quickly I can’t continue to justify the monthly subscription.

Lean Heavily on this App

Trade Like a Professional

I’ve used this app for many years. It’s been a good right-hand man. I agree that lately the quotes aren’t updating instantly or accurately anymore. That needs to be fixed immediately. I would like to see a cash balance added to the account so I can instantly see how much cash I have to trade. For those two missing issues I had to take away one star.

Dead

Nacthemife95

No software updates in 11 months. No support for iOS 12. Stopped refreshing all stock prices on October 3. No good, period.

Used to work fine

mgomes

It’s not updating Brazilian Real currency anymore.

I like this app

RingyT

I’ve had zero problems with a stocks updating and like the UI much better than my brokers app. Notifications on certain stocks is nice. News is pulled from yahoo finance.

Stock prices do not update

Hermsherm

A stock ticker app is worthless if it does not provide real time quotes. Unfortunately, there are many times where I have noticed that stocks on my list have not been updated. Not obscure stocks either. Don’t waste your time.

Used to love, but now fails to get info on many stocks :-(

Edit, added November 1st, 2018: No update in 10 months, leaving the app unable to work with Apple’s Watch OS any more :-( Also issue mentioned below still exists, I’ve been using Numbers more and more but of course it doesn’t have the features like news or charts (the kind I want anyway, not easily or neatly). If you don’t update in a month or so I think I’m going to write my own app that does what you used to do so well. (I’m also a developer.) That said, I like and am used to Ticker so please fix it; if not the watch then at least the errors; it can show a portfolio has lost money that day as a result, like -$39 when in reality it’s +$247. (An example from just now.) I’m likely to unsubscribe as soon as I can at this rate. Just awful- 10 months :-( make an effort man. PS- when I launched just now you’re showing ads again for subscribers. It doesn’t happen often but still, annoying bug when we pay to, amongst other things, NOT see ads. I used to rely on this app heavily, it was great- but it seems like maybe an API you use to get certain stock prices has changed or something- MANY stocks now won’t update, show “error”, and of course won’t let me save that I just sold some at a certain price because it can’t get the current market price; you don’t need the current price to save a sale as you already know what was paid for them so the current price doesn’t factor into any of the data you actually save for the stock in my portfolio. Please fix the app- I’m a paid user but I’m close to giving it up and just using Apple’s new stock tracking features in Numbers to track- but that will be a lot of work to set up nicely. Please look at your APIs- when it works this is by far the most amazing app for tracking stocks.

Can’t live without this App.

Because I am retired, knowing where we are financially at all times is critical, as our only source of income is the Stock Market. We have six portfolios, with three financial institutions. So, having all my portfolios in one place with each portfolio fully listed, and totals for all of the six portfolios available on my iPhone for me to see anywhere, anytime.
