Everything was fine until think or swim started having issues. I was shorting vxx calls. Kept adding until I saw a margin call flag, then was going to reduce. However TOS never produced the yellow flag at the bottom of TOS mobile screen, well market went down and I was so over leveraged I got margin called. To make matters worse I got margin called at the exact bottom. Y’all cost me money because of TOS platform issues

I think the cell phone version and the computer version are an excellent tool to help make better trades based on extensive searches and studies. I have loved TD Ameritrade for over 5 years and it has been absolutely amazing. I love it and I would definitely recommend! Happy trading!

I you arnt a complete bone and somewhat serious about learning the craft of trading I would highly suggest this platform, specifically the desktop version. Customize and analyze with any custom view you want.

I type in stock alerts and it takes 30 seconds for them to trigger and sometimes they don’t process at all for no apparent reason

Q: what happens what an app continually signs users out and disallows password managers? A: people are forced to use simple, rememberable passwords. FAIL. That’s unforgivable for a financial app. Start taking security seriously and properly integrate both Face ID AND allow password managers so those of us with 30 some character randomly generated passwords can use this app without having to dumb down our passwords or have to cut and paste them from other apps (which opens users up to having their copy buffer read by another app) Update: Dev response says they support Face ID. Wow thanks, already knew that. Unfortunately the app still signs users out regularly and doesn’t allow secure password managers like LastPass. This is the only app of hundreds that I have (including many other financial apps) that blocks password managers. Unacceptable for a financial app this day in age.

I like it cause if you take ur time to learn the desktop and app you can adapt , so I’m able to use scanners on the app aswell :) and organize my watchlist by sectors

Fast and straight to the point. Can buy sell, mostly everything you need to be able to do if you are on the go or not in front of your computer. You can also have basic studies on the chart like MACD or RSI. Not quite there yet for custom studies but its way enough for a phone app.
