Great score aggregator, but slurps your Facebook contacts

Functionally the best sports score app I’ve used, but recent update demands re-login with Facebook with permissions to access the friends list. No obvious reason why this is necessary, but a hugely unjustified invasion of privacy.

Updated: Latest version shows all your leagues scores on the scores page. Still like the previous version where you would go individually to each sport. This version may just take some getting used to - lots more info here. Thank you for the info on getting to the specific conferences.

Not Working on Apple Watch 3

Used to work (I would rate at 4-5 stars) but not anymore. Email of the problem sent to support address. No response. Important Update: After communications through email with the developer’s support staff, I was given correct instructions to reset—in concert—both my iPhone and my Apple Watch. I am now enjoying “theScore” on both devices. Thanks, you guys rock! In my opinion, theScore is the Go To source of mobile, up-to-the-minute sports-related scores, news, and information. (You just have to try it in stealth mode on the Apple Watch) 5-Star rating for both the app and the support staff is well-deserved.

I am surprisingly happy with this app thus far after my first weeks using it for notifications on my favorite teams however I wish there could be a most-recent-two-minutes of the game livestream or something more than a clip of the most recent point gained. I enjoy that much as is but I do wish I could enjoy more than clips because currently i have no television access, and am in my car or work all of the time. Good but not great just yet.

I like the app but it dispirited and when i went in the AppStore It said it was there but it wasn’t and i think it has a bug in it so if you could fix it now okay

Ads take up screen space!!

Slightly dissatisfied

First, I’ve been using Score for a few years now and have loved it. Best sports app out there. Unfortunately I can’t rate this 5 stars right now because in the past few updates, there must have been some changes in ownership of the app or ad deals done because it is now overrun with ads when I am trying to read news articles and they take up 80% of the screen and I can’t read the article cause the ads don’t go away once they play through. The original ads showed up in a bar along the bottom and did not take up room. They need to return to that. The app was better before advertising got pushed to the forefront of the app. Please change it back so I can rate 5 stars. I do enjoy this app overall though!

This is a fantastic app. It would be even more amazing if you could add NCAA Men’s Hockey. (CHN app is only app that has scores)

Leaders section needs team data

Other than the annoying banner ads, this is easily my favorite sports data app. However, there are still lots of room for improvement… 1) The leaders section is nice, but has very few categories. For example, although there are rankings for individual players, there are no rankings 14th. So if you want to know which team is leading the conference or the nation in a certain category, you’ll have to find a different app. And even for the individual player rankings, many categories are missing. For example, there is no quarterback rating or QBR. The only quarterback rankings are for passing yards and passing touchdowns, that’s it. You can’t even see who is leading the league in interceptions or touchdown to interception ratio‘s. Want to see which NBA players have the best plus minus ratio? It’s not in here. Want to see who’s leading the league in average minutes per game? It’s not in here. Want to see which team is leading the NBA in points per game or points allowed per game? It’s not in here. Basically, the leaders category only shows about six categories for individual players and that’s it. It needs a lot more. 2) It’s missing a ton of Olympic sports like Track & Field, Swimming, Cycling, etc and missing many college sports. It’s also missing many 2nd tier professional soccer leagues like the USL, etc. Yet it does include other more obscure sports such as lacrosse, junior hockey, and web.com tour. That’s baffling. 3) They do not offer any in app purchase option for subscription option to get a ad free version. I do not like any ads in any of my apps, and prefer to pay for a cleaner add free option. But sadly, they do not give you that option.

Tells me everything I need to know about my teams and players. LOVE the font size and the concise articles! Love the notifications and you guys are right on top of the breaking news!!THANKS and keep it up! I can’t get the app to process the update on my 6s+ phone. I have the iOS 11.1.2 software. Why can’t I get it to update?
