It's back!

Whew, I never realized how much I used this until I couldn't. Now that it's fixed for iOS 9, it's back on my home screen. Very useful app if you use TheBrain on your desktop. Having my data on the go is invaluable to me.

Being able to use my iPhone to jot down "thoughts" in my "brains" is an invaluable asset. I can trust that if something goes wrong TheBrain team is working on it to fix it. Their customer service is first rate.

So much potential, unrealized

I'll start by saying I love The Brain. But this app is a butchered version that realizes little of The Brain's promise or potential. I understand the imperative to drive people to their paid offerings, but I don't get a better version of this app if I sign up, so what's the point? I want to use my iPad as my primary device for managing my Brains, and I want it to have what the desktop version has -- namely, second-level visualization, types, and themes. I'd gladly pay for the service (or the app itself) if the app was a more thought-out and feature complete. At the moment, however, it's neither.

1. No register option? Seems logical. I had to use a web app to register, then confirm via email. Make it more difficult please. 2. App freezes up after each action. So basically it does nothing. Nice idea, maybe I'll forward it to app developers who actually patch updates.

Cool idea. Freezes up at every turn though. Would like to use it but can't.

Didn't realize how much needed something like this until I saw this app. The idea is amazing. But I'm not able to get anywhere with it or use it. FREEZES after every click. You have to kill the app after each function to get it to work. So disappointing. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

As reported elsewhere, the app freezes after every action. Pretty disappointing they would release something this poorly tested. I've used The Brain for a long time on my PC where it is a great app. I hope this gets straightened out.

Why would you not allow sync in private cloud services? Absolutely no interest in keeping private data on someone else's services. Think security and privacy a bit more. Would happily pay feature by useless until storage is completely within my systems and devices.

… If the platform doesn't work. This really does put a long standing tarnish on an otherwise amazing product line. Amateur. Disappointing. The desktop version is as great as this app is horrible. It does next to nothing.

I used to use this software a lot on Windows and extremely happy it is available now on iPad as well. I tried many mindmapping apps, but this one is the only one you can see as effective tool for ideas mapping, content planning and brainstorming in general.
