Needs clues

Jbrisk

A game with mysterious puzzles that can't be solved easily. Requires too much time and effort with no rewards in terms of entertainment. I have other things to do and other rewarding games to play in my limited spare time. Give it a pass.

Mind-numbingly monotonous

Sjoypop

Sure the visuals are stunning but the fanciful backdrop is merely a setting for dozens of ‘finger-maze’ puzzles. There’s very little variety here. I’m sure without the setting this boring game wouldn’t have garnered all the hype.

Love it

Yuko53

I am nowhere near finished, but have already gotten my money’s worth. This is what Myst was trying to be. You can walk anywhere unless there’s a physical barrier in your way. Total freedom of movement! Lots to investigate, and some “oh wow “ moments. Take your time. Walk away if you’re stuck. The only thing I’d change is the voice recordings; would much rather read the quotes - call them up on a screen maybe.

Controls

Please add more control options it nearly breaks the game for me joystick control could make this game much smoother to play

Perfect on iPad Pro

Scratch0

I got an iPad Pro a few days ago and this app was the first app I installed on it. And oh, boy, it was TOTALLY worth the money. There are some games on the App Store for $10 and those were a huge letdown. But this game was amazing for three things: 1. The display. It was so clear and it really felt like I was actually in the game. The trees and especially the water looked realistic. It’s cool how you can see your own shadow! 2. The puzzles. I like how the puzzles are so fun and challenging, I never get sick of solving them. I also like how the puzzles are scattered around the island, not in order so I had to explore the island to figure out the puzzles. I also found some hidden puzzles in the nature, like on trees and clouds. 3. The sound. My iPad Pro has 4 speakers, 2 on each side, and all those sounds were amazing. I could hear the water, and the leaves on the trees shaking, I just love the sound. It honestly feels like I’m sitting in a room full of speakers. So if you’re thinking about getting this game, it sounds expensive, but I’m telling you this is the best game on the APP STORE.

Great on iPad

NillaGoon

This is a lovely game on any platform, but I think it really achieves its ideal state on the iPad. Beware: despite its cartoonish and highly stylized look, some of the puzzles are quite difficult. This isn’t a game for puzzle sissies.

I dearly thank every spirit involved with this creation.

Love it and Hate it

This game has a lot of 5 star qualities. The pros: The map for one is huge and wandering around is fun. Stumbling on to new puzzles is exciting. And periodically you get some interesting information on the story line. The graphics are pretty good for an iPhone game. Not great, but still pretty cool. The amount of puzzles in the game is staggering. Those are all the positives. The cons: this game is aggravating. I consider myself to be good at puzzles and pretty smart and I have a rough time with many of them. To the point where I had to start relying on walk throughs to help me. And in some cases the puzzles are so annoying they almost make you give up on the game. There are also environmental puzzles that are freaking impossible to find or do unless you have a walk through. I don't think a single person can do this game on their own. It's also very tedious at times and all of the puzzles are nearly the same. It gets old after a while. Honestly if it wasn't for my stubbornness I would quit. So, it has its good qualities and it's bad. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth all the hassle if I'm not really having fun. The discovering part is really fun but the puzzles are so tedious and boring. Once I finish the game I'll update this review.

Disappointing ending

Khaled Rawashdeh

After the long lonely silent play the ending should be just the opposite with roaring sounds of the mountain transformation and loud music and first man appearance but I wouldn’t even call yours an ending it’s an unfinished game I’m asking for a refund I feel deceived. This is why I quit playing games and watching films because of the feeling of disappointment that I wasted time without any use. The ending is like having s.. without being able to c.. having said that I think the recordings are great and have great philosophical sights specially the one about Shakespeare and Bacon in the theatre.

Don’t buy this

Tedious, slow, boring, horrible, if there was a zero star option I would pick it.
