The Week

Really enjoy being able to get the latest issue no matter where I am. I like the print version too but the App really helps in many ways when I don't want to carry the extra weight. I really like the broad spectrum international focus. It is like the biological abstracts I use that allows a brief update and the info I need to go into detail on a topic if I would like too.

Both sides

The week reports stories in greater depth than the news. Both sides are reported. I always look forward to, The Last Word.

Minor bug on 10 Things page on iPhone

Couple of weeks ago, the page display started showing: 10 Things You Need To Know Today:≪I≫June26, 2021≪I≫ Like some sort of page script bug?

Spotty at best

I subscribe to both the print and digital The Week, and depend on the latter because (a) I live in a remote area and my print copy doesn’t arrive til Monday many weeks, and (b) I am out of town or country about three months out of the year. The old app had its problems, but this one is fraught with mishaps. It won’t recognize my subscription. Or it won’t download. Or the covers download and nothing else. It won’t hold my sign-in info. The photos won’t open. The text size keeps reverting. It used to be I could email Customer Service and they would respond quickly with a fix. Now, that doesn’t even happen. Email I sent them a week ago has never been answered. I love The Week but if the app does not improve, it will be the reason I cancel.

The Week is the greatest! Service not as much.

The Real Little Rascal

I've been reading The Week in both print and digital form for years. I enjoy the mix of news and other features. When it first went to digital, it was a bit buggy and it would occasionally shut down and need a reboot. For a long time now, however, using an iPad, when opening the app to read the daily update, the current day isn’t available. You need to either shut down and reboot the device, or delete and reinstall the app (which deletes your customer info). This happens at least two or more times a week. It is completely unacceptable. It happens to no other app I’ve ever used. Yes, the magazine is one of the best for fairly balanced news reporting, but it needs to work all the time to be truly great.

Terrible app

South gal

I’ve been a subscriber to this magazine for years. It most recently has been getting worse glitches that do no recognize your login. I’ll go weeks without actually being able to read them. I finally broke thru a few days ago to download some issues. Of course while on an airplane the damm app didn’t recognize me again. Don’t use. Go back to hard copy

Get the news from all sides

Mrs. Pato

Find out how and why the other side, be they Republicans, Democrats or Independents, views the top issues in the news. Understanding the other side gets one a bit closer to dealing with it. Step out of your comfort zone and find out the ways the rest of the World is suffering. You will appreciate your Country more. Learn about interesting people who have recently passed away. Looking for a good book to read this week? Laugh over a genius political cartoon that says it all AND makes you think. Read a clever quote from someone you know or wish you knew more about. See descriptions and pictures of beautiful homes on the market that you will be glad you will never have to clean because they will be out of your price range. Take, THE WEEK, rolled up in your bag or briefcase or read it online from your computer, tablet or phone during breaks in a busy day. Stop being blind to the wonderful and not so wonderful things going on all over the place. Learn something and get interested in something outside of yourself just by reading, THE WEEK, every week.

I could not go a week without reading The Week to keep me up to date on so many world issues. A necessity for sure.

Almost great

The app forces my iPad to a vertical orientation every time it’s opened. Even when I have the orientation locked horizontally.
