What a joke. Game constantly loses connection and has to completely reboot, usually losing your recent game performance. How completely stupid.

The developers deliberately make the new token system confusing and misleading. After wasting a lot of coins due to a misunderstanding, the developers basically wrote back and said tough luck. I played for years and was a dedicated player, but after this bad customer service experience and the overall confusion and misleading token system, I deleted the app and don’t plan on returning. You should do the same.

Love the game and play it all the time. My only complaint is that it takes so long to upgrade anything and It seems the zombies have a very long attack time compared to the players attack time and it seems on some levels that once a zombie gets hold of you, you can't get away. It is very frustrating that it takes so long to level up your survivors and buildings that you get stuck on a level because the survivors always get killed because you get swarmed and can't get away at all. I’ve become very disappointed with the game. You get attacked opening the “gate” at “2 turns left” and if rescued and have to start all over at “8 turns”. Ready to dump the game and move on to something else.

This game deserves one star for its great art design. The game look amazing and it hold true to the universe of the walking dead. That said, the game itself is riddled with core mechanics that I cannot and will not support. If you do not have hundreds of dollars to throw at a mobile game this is a caution to you. You will download this game and enjoy it at first, it looks great, it’s got a walking dead skin, and honestly, the actual gameplay isn’t terrible. It’s gameplay is similar to lord of the rings tactics but with significantly fewer options for success in each mission. This game could be fixed if the healing tent didn’t exist, gas was unlimited (why would you want to penalize the player for playing the game), you could earn you character levels through their use in missions instead of another time wall in the level up tent, you could select which heroes you wanted to work on unlocking and steadily and surely head toward that goal instead of chucking money into a slot machine and hoping, and improving and branching the individual abilities of each character (skill trees?) that said this game has a time pay wall around every corner so if you like your game to dictate when it’s okay for you to play it again this is the game for you. A few other notes: the startup time on this app is horrendous sometimes it takes a full minute to launch and I am on an IPhone X. Also, I have way too many exp points. I am constantly leveling up characters and equipments but have an unreasonable surplus of that currency, I haven’t even bought one tent. Meanwhile I have spend every second I have upgrading the tomato farms and come up short constantly in that currency, but really who even cares because there are so many currencies, it will make your head spin. You never have what you need to progress unless you have an unlimited supply of cash to throw at the greedy people behind this game’s design.
