Very well done and for a good price as well

This Bible Study App is by far the best resource I have seen! John MacArthur explains the meaning of passages here, which is personally what I was so desiring to understand! Additionally, he has included with the defined passages, related resources including: Sermons (available in audio, video, and/or article format), Articles, Blog, Q&A!! As well, there are 3 choices of Bible Versions available (ESV, NASB, KJV). FYI: if you need explanation of which version to use, there is a article by John MacArthur explaining about the different Bible Versions; the article is called “What Bible translation is best?”. He simply gives the “facts”, rather than his “opinion”, behind each version. Another wonderful resource is the “Grace to You” App! I personally so enjoy John MacArthur’s teaching style. By going verse by verse, he teaches the facts which I believe allows the Holy Spirit to work in individuals hearts how only God knows them!! I have the same old problem I had before. It freezes (I see at the top that it's loading) for a while when I first open it. It's not normal for an app to take this long to load. Other Bible apps I have don't take this long. After it's finally done, it still lags a lot when I try to scroll. It's also frozen when I leave it open in the background and open another app then try to go back to read it. This happens on both my iPad and iPhone. It also crashes on my iPad when I try to look at another app while it's open. This is the iPad feature where you can look at other apps on the right side of the screen while another app is open. I wish I could use it. I want to be able to use John's notes and resources. My paper study Bible is hard for me to read because of the print.

The App has great possibilities, but it has bugs. Sometimes when I click on a verse, and it opens up the notes and option to highlight, the App closes abruptly?? Please correct theses basics

Couldn't afford to purchase (or carry around) the printed copy, so this electronic version of his notes on the ESV is awesome. I use the KJV as my text and other translations if clarification is desired. Thanks so much!

This is my go-to study bible and because it's on my iPad, I can take it with me anywhere. And God bless John MacArthur for making it so affordable. One thing this app lacks is a back button. If I click on a cross reference, there's no easy way for me to get back to where I was. If I don't remember what passage I was on, then it's impossible to find my way back. Fixing this one thing will make this a five star app.

Please Create An Update For This App!!

I love the availability of being able to read Scripture at my fingertips, but there needs to be something addressed in an update for the app. I do not know if anyone else has this problem but when I go to highlight certain verses that may be at the top of the page, the page will shift down where I just highlighted it. Then I have to scroll back up to where I left off. It's very frustrating at times.

Appreciate this app. Thanks to all who labored to publish and build this resource for Bible study. My family utilizes this app frequently- including our 10 year old and twin teens. My daughter has been consistently following the daily devotions for a few months now. Solid performing app. We recommend purchasing the optional notes- $6, but functions well without it. There is an audio option that lets you listen to the bible being read- fantastic feature.

I love the new app. I use it on my iPhone and iPad. Having all the versions makes it easy to compare wording of texts. My jPhone is always with me si my Bible is always within easy reach at any time. John's notes are easy to access and the explanations are so very helpful. In the car or hiking I am listening to John's sermons. What a blessing.

It Keeps Deleting Verses

I think this app is fantastic as far as the three different versions of the Bible and how user-friendly it is. However, I save two verses each day - one OT and one NT. The OT verse keeps getting deleted, but the NT verse will stay saved even until the next day when I come back to the app. Why does it do this? I have to continually remember where I had left off in OT and I really wish that I didn't have to do that.
