Love this Bible study app

I have been searching for an app I could read the Bible and study notes on and when I found this one I was very excited about it! Since downloading it I have really enjoyed the access to John MacArthur’s notes while I read through the Bible. It works really well on my phone and I like that it has the option to return to where ever you were reading. This app is also a blessing in that it is a low cost option to having the John MacArthur study notes. In the past I have purchased Bible’s with his notes in them and they are very costly. This app allows complete access to everything in the actual Study Bible without having to pay a lot. One think I would love to see with this app is a pop-up bubble when you tap or hover over cross references. This one is very simple and great in that it allows you to quickly go to cross references and still return to what you were reading previously.

This app is very helpful, particularly if you get Dr. MacArthur’s notes. One area it could improve (minor) is ability to narrow the search function (by book or testament).

John Macarthur’s study Bible App is unbelievable and is just as phenomenal as his study Bible you would by in paper form. So many notes, references, along with access to Q&A answers and links to sermons that go with the passage you are reading. A wonderful resource for growing you knowledge of God’s perfect unending word!

I cannot say enough about this study app. Knowing and understanding the Word of God is so important. It is helpful to have a commentary to help explain certain passages. The only reason that I give this app. Four stars is because I find it very difficult to distinguish the numbers of each verse. There are so many reference numbers that I have difficulty determining the verse number. I wish the verse number was in bold to really make it stick out. I still love this Bible app and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a solid commentary.

Grace to You Bible ap is great by itself. In conversations with believers and searchers I encourage the free ap download as well as Johns notes. Early on I purchased John’s notes and am very thankful that they are available for 6 dollars which is a tremendous bargain. There are numerous resources attached to the notes such as previous sermons, blogs, articles, Q&A’s, and excerpts from MacArthurs New Testament Commentaries. I am so thankful for the supporters of Grace to You Church that make these resources available and affordable to the searchers of truth.

I cannot speak for the visually blessed people as it appears to be very good app, however, from a blind standpoint it just will not work. You cannot read individual texts and the hand jesters clash with The way this app operates. I wish it were better as I love John MacArthur‘s writings when I can get them.

Never have I had a bible app, that has helped me greatly as this one has in reminding you biblical truths, to opening new understanding to context of scriptures, & encouraging to greater prayer life . John MacArthur has truly been a blessing unto my life by walking in a manner worthy of Christ and keeping Christ the center of every thought and idea . God bless you

Can’t highlight a block of verses at one time After I highlight a single verse, app scrolls to verse 1 of passage; I have to constantly scroll to verse that I was at. When I highlight a verse, highlights of previous verses in passage disappear. Please add: Built in Strong’s numbers in the verses ( toggle on/off) to click and get Greek and Hebrew, built in Bible dictionaries, Treasury of Scripture knowledge (TSK)
