Play it and make up your own mind. I loved it

I came on “The Room” series by accident when my attention was called to The Room Old Sins, which is actually the 4th in the series. I started with this one, The Room, because it was first, and you can try it for free for the first level to see if you like it. If you do, you can finish the rest of the game for .99. After finishing this, I immediately signed on for #2, and have now completed it. If complex puzzles, logic, gadgets, gizmos, unexpected turns and the occasional red herring are your thing, you have arrived. I say this, and not lightly; these games are FLAWLESSLY executed. They are challenging without being impossible; and hints are provided, if you want to use them, that give you an increasing degree of guidance to get you through any difficult spots. I’m a senior citizen, and I have hooked my wife, my mid-30’s daughter and my teenage grandson on The Door. Fun for all ages. The graphics are outstanding, the music totally right and the atmosphere perfect. The fee is small for several hours of enjoyment, and after the first one, a purchased game will support multiple profiles. No ads. No nonsense. Just some seriously challenging fun!

I am not a gamer per se, but I found The Room: Old Sins while looking for puzzle games and was intrigued. I wanted to start from the beginning, which is this one, and I was hooked from the start. It’s free to try at first, so you have nothing to lose if you don’t like it. I can’t imagine you won’t. It is never boring! I literally want to jump inside this game!!

Fun, Addictive, but...Bugged?

The game is enthralling, addicting, that is until it stops... At the clock final puzzle, even after inputting the correct “answer” the game does not accept it as such, leaving you stranded. I wanna know what’s in the $&@?ing box! Perhaps it’s just me though, but other wise I would have given it full marks if I could’ve.

How could I describe this game? It is truly truly captivating. Played the first chapter for free and then proceeded to purchase the entire series without even a second thought. Don’t regret a single purchase. Make more game!!!

Great Game but Persistent Issue

I purchased this game a couple of years ago, and it was amazing to play! It had a wonderful storyline and the graphics and mechanics were simply awesome! In the present day, I recently redownloaded this game in the hopes I could relive the amazing quality of the game. However, after completing the 1st trial room, I was shown with a restore purchase screen. Clicking on the restore button ended up with an error: "Your purchase could not be restored. Please check your network configuration and retry." I have tried and tried trying to restore my purchase and I'm simply not able to get past this screen. If this issue can be resolved, I will be more than happy to edit this review to back to 5 stars. Thanks.

Super fun and challenging, but not to where you give up frustrated. And it’s only $0.99 cents!! I could find that in my couch! It’s so flawless. No glitches or crashing. Definitely get this game!

I’m not one for video games, but I’ve played all the escape games I could find on iTunes and this is by far the best one. The room 2 is good too, but not as good as this first one in my opinion. Still loved it and still going to buy the room 3.
