The artwork and music are lovely. And the story is whimsical...although thin. The level of puzzle difficulty is mixed; you do have a way to get hints but some are vague and others just give you the solution outright. And be prepared to do some meandering in order to get hints. The game actually warns you about being “lazy” which I thought hilarious. I don’t think not wanting to wander through the same virtual landscapes over and over and over and over and over again - with no change in scenery or story whatsoever - equates to laziness. My feelings about this game are mixed. If I hadn’t liked the art and music so much I probably wouldn’t have finished. But the game is short and if you settle into treating this as a mindless, relaxing exercise, the repetitiveness isn’t that bad. I think it grew on me. I’m glad I played it. For puzzle gamers who really enjoy artwork and music in their games, I would recommend trying this out. It’s worth having in your collection.
Oddly Complicated

I loved the look of the game but the puzzles were oddly complicated and unclear. Takes forever to walk across screens, each cut screen tells you to put on headphones or ask the sloth for help, and you need to click around a lot to figure out what is usable or not. I usually love games like this but it took too long to get anything done and I needed several walkthrough hints to figure out exactly how to solve a puzzle even though I had the correct pieces in my inventory. Disappointing. Not finishing the game. If there’s a way to more quickly navigate, I’d consider picking it up again.

This is a good example of how the iPhone has brought out some of the most creative and unique games from new developers. The touch controls can be iffy and there's a little lost in translation (I believe it's a French dev ) but it's just too beautiful to put down!

Soy un fan incondicional de Vetusta Morla. Este juego rezuma tortuguismo por todos sus poros. Es precioso y lo que he podido avanzar me ha enamorado, especialmente y como no podia ser de otra forma por la musica (obligatorio usar auriculares). Pero es un nido de bugs y de fallos a nivel jugable. Se tendria que haber depurado porque llega a puntos donde es injugable.

Difficult and Frustrating

The art/graphics and music are excellent. It's beautifully crafted and interesting. However, the game itself is very frustrating to play. I realize that it is a puzzle game and the point is to figure it out piece by piece, but there are parts that are unnecessarily difficult or hard to accomplish. A lot of time is spent just walking through screens, which is also hard to do because the controls are not consistent. The idea is unique, but the execution is a little rusty.
It wins my vote.

I love the different style of graphics. I think this game is creatively put together and the music is beautiful. I'm always looking for a good game in this genre and I'd say that I've found one :)
