I tried it and it was ok, but I bought the full version and tried editing the photo, it saved, and I could access the info, but then I decided to test it fully and uploaded it to discord then redownloaded it and the caption, which I put on there and saved, no longer registered the caption

App not working

Mr. Pingpong

App worked well until recently it’s not working at all

I t gives you the information

dohspc

Interface is ugly in my opinion but it gives you the photo information. Paid to get rid of the ads is worth it since it’s a subscription.

Thanks for the update!

A great app for checking and fixing metadata. Even conveniently allows access to the Recently Deleted album which most apps don't.

White text on white background

Doesn’t seem like this has been updated (meaningfully) in a while - is now unusable on iOS 13 because the text is invisible. Updated to 5 stars, per developer update

Outstanding and easy-to-use App

IT-Homer

This is a terrific App that is intuitive and easy-to-use for correcting dates and adding location information to your photos and videos. I use it extensively and highly recommend it.

I love this app. Convenient, fast access to seeing metadata info

Download the app and stick it somewhere out of sight you’ll never need the actual app icon. After you download it, go to the photos app, select a photo, tap on the share button on the bottom left corner (a square with an upward arrow coming out of it). Scroll down all the way to “edit actions” and tap the green plus button to the left of “investigate” with the magnifying glass logo (this app). This moves access to the app to the top so you don’t need to scroll to get to it. Now all you have to do to check the file format, size, other metadata is tap this share button and tap investigate. So easy. There’s a shortcut someone shared but takes way more steps. This is a shorter cut than the shortcut. Couldn’t ask for more. I shoot RAW with the CameraPro app and use Lightroom and often need to double check file format or size. Thank you Photo Investigator!!!

Needs multi photo support

aberrios

While this is a feature rich editor the app needs a way to quickly remove gps metadata from multiple pictures selected instead of one at a time. Appreciate it if the developer could work on this to really make this app number one.

Perfect, just what I was looking for

Shows very detailed information about photos AND videos. Frame rate, file type, file size, camera source, location taken, date created, and more. Very useful, Apple should include this information in the default Photos app.
