Please for the love of God do something about the ads at the start

Name Not Listed

Dear makers of the One Bible App, Please accept this feedback as humble feedback from one of your application users. The ads that open at the start are not Christian based ads or at least the ones that I’ve seen. There’s nothing wrong with making offers, but the fact you have added ads at the intro, sneaking it into an update, was something like a bait and switch. Sure it’s only $1.99 to get rid of ads, that’s just acknowledges that the ads are not good. Why not have a intro page that has the daily scripture with a little ad on the side? That’s what other apps seem to do it without problems. You might want to consider that is just not helpful to do it the way you’re doing it. Obviously not everyone is going to benefit from this ad structure. Imagine opening the real holy Bible in getting an ad for some non-Christian company every time you open it? This feedback is just to help you fix the problem and please do not take it as criticism for who you are. I love you and pray you are blessed by God, in Jesus name. Please consider updating the application to remedy the problem. Thank you for your kind consideration and all your hard work to make the Holy Bible available in digital application format. May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Ph 4:7 In gratitude

Decent but i think their intent is wrong

I have had this app for around 6 years now. I am now deleting it because I am sick of the ads and how they beg for your money. It seems like they care more about your money than for you to grow while reading God’s word. I paid $6 and still i have annoying ads.

Ads in a bible app doesn't sit well with me

PNW727

I'm having a hard time giving a bible app only 2 stars. But the fact that they make a user watch ads right when they open the Holy Bible doesn't sit right with me. What if someone on the fence about Jesus happened to use this app? I worry if it was their first time trying to read the Bible something silly like that could turn them off to the whole idea. I have no problem with you guys putting in a tithe/offering section somewhere in the app. For now I'll be sticking with the YouVersion for my Bible app. I really hope you guys will take this into consideration. Matthew 10: 8-9

Annoying Loud Advertisements Upon Opening App

If you are reading this and hope to be able to use this in Church, this may not be for you. I have had this App for many years and really enjoy lots of the features of this App. Now, I no longer can open this when I’m at Church because when I open the App to read along with the scripture of the sermon, it come on with a blaring advertisement. I have tried every way I can to silence the sound to no avail. I’m about ready to find another online Bible to switch too.

Not the same

I’ve had the app for some years. You can highlight and take note. However use to be able to highlight and look up words, now there is a pop up advertisement for almost every move you make. The pop ups are the most disruptive.

Pop up

Why does a bitcoin app keep popping up & wont Close? I’ve deleted the app 3 times & reloaded it.

Not happy

I’ve had this app on my phone for years and always enjoyed it. However in the last year or so they have started with pop up ads before you can get at the Bible. Today was especially annoying in church. I was trying to access my Bible an ad popped up and I couldn’t get out of it. So I have now remove the app from my home screen. Debating about whether or not to reinstall.

After years of uses

I enjoyed this app for several years. But all of the sudden I can not X out of the add to read the Bible. I was keeping track of my daily reading through the app.
