I bought the version of the Bible I wanted quite some time ago, and paid good money for it - one of the most expensive apps I ever bought. Now being forced to deal with an intrusive ad, which is very difficult to clear by the way, is cheap. Can you imagine having to watch an ad every time you opened a physical book? That would be ridiculous. Now I’m forced into this “upgrade” just for the benefit of a bunch of publications I do not want.

One Bible continually updates the app to a version that shows ads even though I paid extra not to have ads. Sometimes, ads with sound cause a big noisy disruption during a Bible Study class. It is always an unwelcome delay and set of extra keystrokes to get the ads closed. Even when I go through the App Store hassles of getting credit for my no-ads version, again and again, One Bible seems to think it is okay to annoy me by promoting their own products.

We purchased a previous verision without ads and the old verision will not open but sends you to new version with long ads. I want my money back and feel cheated.

I haven’t used this Bible app in a couple of weeks. I just tried to read gospel of John. When I came back after a ten-minute break, an ad for “Picture This” started playing, and I couldn’t stop it. At the end of the ad, I had two choice to GET the Picture This app, no choice to close it. Now I can’t use this app. Ridiculous

I paid for the ad free version. There are still ads. The ads with volume are especially frustrating.

Paid 5.99 thinking I would have offline audio access to the nlt bible. But that is not the case.

I paid for this app years ago. I do not understand why there are so many ads upon opening it. This is quite annoying during service because I can not get to my bible verses in time. In addition, the ads are sooo loud! How disrespectful. I never had this issue prior to this year and so really would appreciate that it gets fixed.
