You know, I thought the voice acting was great, ha! Lots of fun, good story, compelling puzzles, excellent addition to point and click adventure genre. Chapter 2 is just as great. Can't wait for the next installment!

Fantastic musical score, beautiful art combo of hand drawn and computer animation, fun puzzles that aren't too hard and a simple but engaging story to start off the first chapter...can't wait to play the next! My mom only negatives is it was kind of short, though I'm told the next chapter is 2x as long (with the 3rd and final chapter being the best in terms of length and content), so I can give it a pass as this was a small issue Dniester project that thankfully work out for them to make the 2 other chapters they wanted to tell the story....and my other negative is beyond the the main voice acting, some of the side characters are pretty badly recorded, but this again can be forgiven. PS. Please developers update game for iOS 10 per Apple request so game will continue to work on future iOS generations

The Journey Down remains one of my finest adventure gaming experiences on iOS. The story is compelling, the characters are likable and have depth, the graphics are gorgeous, the interface and controls are intuitive and well polished, and the puzzles are challenging yet not frustrating and are all solvable without referencing a walk through with a little persistence. Now that the entire story is complete and all three episodes are released I highly recommend playing this masterpiece of P&C adventure gaming! You won't be disappointed ? Big thanks to SkyGoblin for weathering the many storms of an indie development path, and for their perseverance to conclude The Journey Down to reward all the players who have invested in and love this story! You have my sincerest thanks!

Old school point and click, easy to play,good for kids,nice graphics,sound, with challenging puzzles. We need more of theses types of games.

I first played The Journey Down a few years back when only chapter 1 was available and loved everything about it. Now that all 3 chapters are out, I’m so excited to discover the rest of the story. The main character Bwana, with his mischievous personality and great sense of humor, is quite a refreshing change from your typical hardened detective. The supporting cast is fantastic as well. The funky Afro-noir game design is a treat for the eyes and the music is gorgeous - and I don’t even like jazz! I love how despite the environments and plot being generally dark and mysterious, all the characters are incredibly upbeat and fun to talk to. And something I have to mention about the game mechanics is that your items stay with you after one use, whether you may need them again or not - it never made sense to me in other p&c games when your character would leave behind a perfectly good tool after one use! I’m glad the developers here understood that. I can’t believe this amazing game has so few reviews. Yes chapter 1 is a little short but the later chapters are much longer and definitely worth your money. Check it out, you won’t regret it!!

I just finished Chapter One of The Journey Down and I'm now hooked! The voiceovers and animation are top notch. This game has some great puzzles and I enjoyed every moment. I am downloading Chapter 2 now and can't wait to play it. Well done! This is the best game I've played on iOS! Must have for adventure gamers!

Purchased Journey 1 & 2 recently as a package deal. Now that Journey 2 is released, have no clue how to download without paying $s. Emailed support August 30 only to get a reply to be patient...nothing else and it's been a week...very disappointed.
