Super cool app! Great idea and nice app. I can download my free family search data and genealogy and lay it over maps and my location. I have received notifications when I am near a relative's life event location. Super cool!! Who knew my great grandfather's father lived in WISCONSIN!

Helps you look at your family history in a whole new way. It's fun to find out where life events happened for your ancestors, and then to learn more about those ancestors.

Awesome way to connect family history with places and time

This app has ignited a renewed interest in family history. It has made it much much easier to put it into context for both place and time. I love the event alerts. It's really cool when I happen to be near a place and get an alert that one of my ancestors had been there too! Thanks to this app, I found out that I have a great grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary War. Way cool!

Onerous terms

First, the app crashes when trying to read the terms and conditions. Maybe that is because the terms are so onerous in favor of Nexus. You grant them free, unrestricted, perpetual license to use your family data for any and all purposes. In return you get to use the app but can't post or reuse the content without their permission. No thanks. Bad deal, delete.

Not Working On IPad

Program downloaded to my IPad and it connected to my information. I was able to use the app while it was downloading but when I went back to it no personal information was on it and it wanted to reload. It did this several times and did not work. I guess it only works. On IPhone. Interesting app.

Can't login

Using the exact same user name and password to login to the family search app and this app won't let me login.

Good idea, bad execution

Really wish this worked better. When I first downloaded it and signed in it started right up and had tons of interesting information. When I tried to go back later it informed me that it needed to download my info again. It never did. Now, every time I open the app it wants to redownload everything but never does.

Amazing family history app

I am an avid genealogist and have used a number of different family history sites and apps. I love how easy this app is to use. It automatically downloads your FamilySearch family tree and plots events on the map. Other websites just show birthplaces, but this app shows birth, marriage, death, and burial locations. I love the alerts and the premium features are really awesome. I hope the developers keep working on this app and adding even more features!

Keeps crashing

I can't even get into the app. It just crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled and the same problem over and over.

I’ve wanted something like this for a long time. Really well done and easy to understand! I wish there was a way to refresh/re-retrieve data, but maybe that will be in a future update.
