The Family Nexus mobile app lets you instantly see all family life events that took place in a particular area, or you can search for a specific individual. Tap a map pin to learn more about the events in your family history that took place at that location.
In addition, the app alerts you when you are near an event that took place in your family history, or on the anniversary of an event of an ancestor.
You will learn more about your ancestors and the events that shaped their lives. Plus, share your discoveries with your friends and family on Facebook and Twitter and increase your bond with family members living and dead!

I love opening my Family Nexus app to see who will pop up next! There are a couple of not so easy navigating issues, but I always assume it’s operator error ?, still, always fun to use!

I loved this app, downloaded the required update while in vacay and now it won’t open. I was looking forward to seeing family roots in Kentucky while here but can’t. Super bummed. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Used this app until the latest iOS and now the data won’t download and I can’t use any feature on the app. I’m only giving it one star because you have to give something for the review to post.

Downloading your data is a disaster. A couple of years ago when I originally got this app. It took me many, many, many attempts to download my data. It didn’t keep downloading in the background and I had to “babysit my phone” so it wouldn’t time out. Eventually got like 10,000 members and have been thrilled. Yesterday when I went in the app, it required a log in. This caused a complete loss of all my data. ??. I have tried multiple times today to download, but haven’t had time to babysit the timing out process. This is ridiculous. I am a Premium member and was going to donate to your app development. I’m rethinking that now. Great idea, great fun. Poor operations.

I’ve used this app all over the world to visit places important to my ancestors. Like any app, sometimes there are bugs and I have to re-download my tree, but it’s so easy and they have great customer support! This has been the best tool to use with my kids and make family history easy and exciting for them!
Crashes whenever I try launching it...

I just downloaded this app onto my iPad and saw nothing but my name and location, Exploring to see what was offered only showed that I needed to subscribe no matter what I clicked on. Yjat was no fun. When I clicked on manage subscription I was kicked out of the app every time. Sounded good but was disappointed with the no-in-app purchase. Too much trouble. MEC
