Another Pay-To-Win

J.Sargent

I uninstalled Hearthstone because I saw a huge increase in epic and legendary cards all of a sudden. I am not a huge fan of pay for wins. After stumbling on Legends, and being a huge Elder Scrolls fan, I decided to give another TCG a change. A few days in, I really really enjoy the references, artwork, and all around gameplay. But I have found that in the PVP ranked games, there is still an obvious "pay for awesome cards and will on others" feel. I think the game as a whole is better than Hearthstone (hence the 3-star review), but I really wish that the developers of mobile TCGs can find a way to balance the matching of players that purchase cards with money and those that put work in to developing decks from game play time.

Nice game

BunchyKrunchy

Really nice game

Good game but bad connectivity...

GwaveWobber

When you actually get to play it’s a good game. I have great WiFi in my house and I can’t get this game to stay connected for anything. It’s incredibly annoying and makes the game unplayable...

DAT LOAD TIME DOE

D.w.903

It takes me about 20 mins for the game to load, and then I click I’m new and, and 20 mins later it says there is in an error and I have to restart the game. I HATE THE LOAD PF THIS GAME. I HAVENT EVEN GOT TO PLAY BECAUSE OF THE ERROR AND LOAD

Would be great but

First rate ever

If you don’t link an account, you’re screwed, they deleted all of my progress, everything I worked for, and all the money I spent, just because I didn’t link an account, game is a dead end also, if you don’t spend money you don’t get far in ranked and you can only play a very little bit of campaign, waste of time, just play hearthstone

Why do I have no sound?

careyoboi63

Iphone 7. Game works great but no sound. I get sound on every app except this game.

Fun to play

AKPingjockey

I am new to this and it’s a fun game.

Overmatched right at the start

This game can be incredibly frustrating to the point you just want to throw your phone across the room in rage. As you get to the fourth or fifth encounter in story mode you have to just sit there as you take a pounding from an enemy who starts with 2-4 enemy’s already on the field. Your first summon is basically cannon fodder as they are dead right out of the gate. Your magicka builds excruciatingly slowly and many times you have to waste 3-4 points because all of your summons are 5-6 points. I don’t mind a challenge but when you have to fight wolves, WOLVES, 4 times because they continuously stack up over and over and over again it’s no longer fun or challenging...it’s a PRISON RAPE!

Only fun for a couple hours before...

It becomes pay to play. It makes you enjoy the story and the ability to play but, after you finish one story mode and the game has you thinking that, like Yu-Gi-Oh, it can be played and fun without spending real money, you find that it costs $19.95 PER STORY (there’s 3 acts in each story mode) to play the rest of the stories in the game. There’s 3 other possible stories as well so that’s a total of $59.85 on just story modes on their own. SKYRIM COSTS LESS THAN THAT AND HAS MORE CONTENT. Then, it has a quest to use your one free event ticket that you earned in the ONE free story to go into the solo arena. After you use that, it’s gone... Honestly, I’m probably going to delete it but the concept was great. Two stars for entertaining me for a bit but, at the same time, only two stars because it ends up costing more than a full game if you choose to continue the story lines. This shameless cash grab can go straight to Oblivion.
