Beautifully Dull

While this game is not as “pay to win” as some suggest, it is also not very engaging over time. There is essentially one type of combat, stand in front of your opponent and bash them like a bad boxing game. There is no combat at any range other than “in your face” and the fact that you enter into “locked combat” separately from the flow of the game is a bummer. Town building is initially interesting, but the fun wears off quickly. The dungeons are repetitive and dull. The monsters are overwhelmingly humanoid (which just adds to the repetitive feel of things). On a bright note, creating and enchanting equipment is fun enough– still a bit repetitive, but fun enough. In all honesty, I am not sure why they did not just try to create a more stripped down open world game. The discovery portion alone would have offered a lot of extended interest that the model they used simply cannot provide. It is not all doom and gloom however, the graphics really are impressive and what they tried to do is interesting. In the end, it just did not make for a compelling game over time.

Yes!

Perfect mobile game for the elder scrolls fans out there!

Doesn’t remember login

Stew737

Quit playing after the last update forces me to login every time I open the app. Not to mention the storyline is rather short leaving me little incentive to continue playing. Therefore that small impediment is just enough annoyances to stop playing.

Ugh

Please make this accessible for iPod. because my son want to play it because he loves Skyrim but owns an iPod.

Game reset itself

thafatman

Game reset itself when I was at level 24. Literally reboot itself. Super sad.

Good game but...

Gandalfdapony

The game is cool and all and really fun but around level 11(my level) it gets really hard in that floor of the dungeon and is really difficult without buying gems

Don’t believe these glowing reviews by paid reviewers. This game is a boring slog. If you like to spend hours and/or days grinding the same uninspired levels over and over and over than maybe, just maybe you’ll enjoy this ‘game’. Oh, also if you love dumping money down a toilet cause if you wanna get anything worthwhile you will have too, like all crap mobile games.

OK to play, but don’t spend money it doesn’t get you anywhere

What can I say, lured in by the lore - anything that takes me back to medieval times, spent the initial $5 for mats and bonus pack but goodness gracious does it get redundant fast. The five dollar intro pack only got me upgraded enough to last me about 45 minutes of gameplay after that it was back to drudgery. Some people are stating that if you grind enough it’s very playable, but for me for a phone game I don’t plan to invest that much time into it. I am level 18 and I can’t get anywhere as every quest is at least four or five difficulty. I have over 1200 jams and I don’t know what to spend it on, the chest drops are not that helpful. I have my smithy upgraded to Dwarven and I only had enough materials to craft one item, can’t get any more items in the store available to buy or in drops. I also understand this game is pretty much in beta, but I get stuck in quests every now and then where I run out of drops or enemies and I have to abandon a quest and not get any credit for it. - takes way too long to lvl up gear and the city - way too expensive to repair gear after only a few quests which eats away at the gold you need for upgrades - slow material drops to upgrade equipment (create and temper and enchant) + upgrade city (or way to expensive) - chests are weak and the decent ones expensive - fighting redundant and the quests way too linear - expanding and upgrading city should be expanded - kinda want my $5 back Meh... got bored quick
