The game is amazing and I love the style but the coins are an issue, it’s a pay to win game which makes me hate it. If they would simply add a “watch a video to get coins/keys” button it would be great

If you have come to the reviews because of an ad for this game you have seen stop right now. The ads are completely incorrect and an inaccurate representation of the game entirely. I love the game so much but the ads just break my heart. They are so wrong and have nothing to do with the captivating story itself.

...it’s kind of a ripoff. I wouldn’t get into this game unless you want to spend money. For all it touts itself as a romance game, it hides a ton of that romance behind paywalls. As much as I love the writing and characters, I can’t recommend this game to anyone until it’s easier and more fair to get coins.

I was very excited to play this game. The art is amazing, the music is fun, characters are fleshed out and each is unique. The aesthetic is lovely- magic mixed with mystery and romance. I can tell a lot of hard work and love went into this game, which is why it pains me to leave a negative review. The creators continually say this game is not pay to win, but I strongly feel it is a pay to enjoy. The coin system is a joke. When you happen upon a paid option in the game, it’s always a large number of coins (normally around 200-250) which you have to pay over 5$ for. That’s 5$ just to have an option that gets you bare minimum interaction with the character whos route you’re on. You are rewarded 5 coins a day, it would take over a month to save coins for ONE option in a chapter. Insanity. If you choose a response that is not paid, it normally comes off cold or plain skips over any further interaction with a character. So basically you either pay extra to get any sort of intimate time with a character, or you get none at all. Thus, pay to enjoy. Either make the coins more affordable, award more daily, or lower the cost of coins for interactions. I wouldn’t recommend game to anyone until something changes with the $$ system.

I thoroughly enjoy this game and it’s so captivating. My suggestions: -More options to win a reasonable amount of coins. I don’t mind buying some in app purchases, but the more options to earn coins of higher value the better. It’ll entice more people to want to play! -While I love the fluidity of this game, you can choose your pronouns, etc. I would LOVE it if we could create our own avatar/character who appears on screen as well like most other choose your own adventure games. I feel like it’ll allow for a more personal and exciting experience! Overall, great game and it’s quite addictive!

I honestly haven't been playing long but I can already tell this is a game for girls who like guys maybe add where its not so heterosexual? And I think it would be pretty cool if we were able to make a character ourselves... I think it would make it more exciting.

Hello developer’s and hello to anyone reading this, I would like to take a min and say that I love this game. Now I do understand some people’s concerns about the money and other things, but I think I understand what there doing now. I’ve been playing this game for about 2-3 months now and it just showed me an option to get, up too 60 coins a day. I think that the long you play the game, the better it will reward you. As in giving you money. Now I will say you have to be playing the game for long periods of time tho, (maybe I read too much) or just have the game a long time. Also if a developer sees this I would like to ask what was your idea behind this? And am I right? The storytelling is done by that of a professional I personally love Muriels character. It’s so immersive and fun to play with and even the versions of the story’s that you don’t have to pay for are decent unfortunately for myself I can’t not throw my money at the steamier and funny options that present themselves it’s honestly addicting. I love it so much that if this became a show or movie I would love to play in it as the player

Not even kidding. I’ve tried Episode, and a few others (such as Mystic Messenger), but this is the only one that has been on my phone for more than a month (it’s been. A year? I think?). The characters are amazing, the art is great, and the story is so entertaining - and there’s a different version for each character! Yeah this game is seriously my favorite thing, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
