I just downloaded this app yesterday and so far I love it. I’m just upset I didn’t know about it sooner. I was paying a $20 annual fee for 5 different mags that read on my iPad. Now I have 100s of mags for one low price!

Works great on my iPad mini. Cheaper than me buying all those magazines. It also saves time and space being able to down load them, then deleting them when I'm done.

I am retired and taking a current events class through the Osher program at UCLA Extension. Getting access to current articles from leading magazines is difficult and expensive. Texture solves my problem. Both the topics we are covering in my upcoming class are represented by articles from several of the magazines. I have this all on my iPad Pro. I have enough space for many many magazines. Texture is a great price, has a good variety of magazines and gives it to me on my iPad which is always with me. Happy Camper here.

To get the most out of this you need to be at least a weekly reader of its content. The subscription is equal to the newsstand price of three magazines but for that you get 10x that number. If you're like me most of them are not of interest. Be sure to select your magazines of interest to get the best article suggestions. I find I still get to the articles I'll read by going through the magazines and reading the covers. I do this on the weekend when I have time for longer reads. I also use longform.com which creates a curated list of longer articles. Check that out.

The only problem is I forget to use it and I have not received my airline rewards and there is no phone number to call for assistance. I hope the royalty they pay is enough to keep the publishers in business.

I was excited to load up the app with mags for a long international trip. Sadly, when offline, the cover previews wouldn’t show and a number of the magazines wouldn’t render right (80% of pages were all white). Love the concept...

It might seem pricey to others- but I value Texture for a number of reasons!!! I love that I can travel with my magazines and not leave them on a plane, really love that I’m not killing extra trees for a magazine. So I consider some of what I’m paying is in support of not wasting raw materials! It’s also amazing to look over a magazine that I might not buy or have exposure to any other way. And mostly, I love searching on a topic and being able to read multiple articles in a very short time! Texture is Amazing!

I no longer have to carry or store magazines, as I can have them all on my tablet. Oh my favorite titles in one place. Simply wonderful.
