I like magazines. I don’t like killing trees. Win win.

I had thought for so long that it was important to me to hold a magazine , be able to rip pages out that gave me good ideas. A couple of years ago I came across Texture and thought it sounded like such a great deal, but I didn’t know about not being able to have that book in my hand. Well immediately, I found I didn’t miss the books at all! What a deal to scroll through all the issues, even old issues are available and I also read from magazines that before I would have never purchased. What I spend for Texture a month is less than the cost of one of my decorating magazines. I Love Texture!!!!!!

Just began my 7 day trial and can already say I will be keeping this. I just spent a couple of hours reading a magazine I used to occasionally buy. I appreciate the fact I can peruse so many magazines. I also appreciate that I can read so many and not have the mess of a print subscription piling up in the house. Never fear! You can save a page or an article you particularly like. A good deal for the price.

Subscription cancelled in erro

Already had a Basic subscription. After logging in to texture .com I checked out the Premium service and when I clicked on “No thanks”, I received message my Basic subscription was cancelled. Going through the Customer Support page to get Basic restored (as it’s impossible to talk to any human ever), I filled out the page and sent. Response was “invalid or unverified nonce”, whatever the hell that is. Very frustrating to not be able to resolve an error in their system.

Hate the name “texture”

Lol yes I know there is a way to change your password through the request. The problem is that it is way too difficult. Why did it log me out in the first place? Why did it lock me out after I reset the password? Anyway I’ve spent $500 on a subscription since you first started doing magazines on the iPad. It’s ok. Just very frustrating to be locked out of your account and having to go through all these steps just to log back in and the being locked out.....I’ll sign up for one month when I can catch up on my magazines when I go on a trip in May then cancel because your password reset feature is too difficult for me apparently Canceled. Automatically logs me out and makeso me logs back in. Don’t remember your password and try and reset it? Good luck. It’ll force you to wait for god knows how long since you tried too many times.

It’s and ok app but not worth money....maybe if the selection were larger. A lot of the content is available for free on the web already.
