I used to love this app. Recently, the app only shows 3 parks. Emailed administrator and no response.

I love that they finally made an app! Thank you thank you thank you! I'm going to make a request on being able to reserve a camp site through the app in the near future please!!

I was sure expecting more. It does not provide anything more than the web. Money would have been better spent on a better reservation app that would allow you to log in, renew your park pass, maintain your park pass information, vehicle information and your credit card information for making reservations. It surprises me I can renew my vehicle tags online but I can't renew my park pass. Every year just throw it away and buy a new one while waiting in line at the park. I just need to lower my expectations.

This app offers a great guide to the parks but you cannot make online reservations through it. The best it offers is the phone number for the central phone line. That's a shame, and as a result, the app falls short for me.

Solidly functioning app. Better UI than the previous one available for the Texas state parks system.

Was really hoping you'd be able to book campsites with this app. No luck.

I love TPWD, really, but I was very disappointed in the functionality of this app. It's beautiful, very well made, but not useful. I was hoping it would improve upon the redesigned website but it falls short. For one, the Reserve button makes a phone call? Really?? This is 2016, it should be a UI that's part of the app. Second, it's missing detailed information about the amenities. Now, I love that the maps are downloaded into the app, that's great, but this is a mobile app, the maps should be interactive (maybe use google or openstreetmap tiles?). I'm not a fan of PDF maps, I can bring a paper copy of the same thing. The benefit of mobile is being able to use GPS. Same problem with the map of parks.

Assuming "Texas State Parks Guide" is replacing the printed "Texas State Parks Guide," great job. Hopefully in the future this app can be expanded with functions a printed guide could never do. Compare the app fairly to the printed "Texas State Parks Guide," not a wish list or assumptions. For maps, many trails are in mapping apps. For reservations, use the phone or the web site.
