Beautiful but disappointed – Texas State Parks Guide Review

I love TPWD, really, but I was very disappointed in the functionality of this app. It's beautiful, very well made, but not useful. I was hoping it would improve upon the redesigned website but it falls short. For one, the Reserve button makes a phone call? Really?? This is 2016, it should be a UI that's part of the app. Second, it's missing detailed information about the amenities. Now, I love that the maps are downloaded into the app, that's great, but this is a mobile app, the maps should be interactive (maybe use google or openstreetmap tiles?). I'm not a fan of PDF maps, I can bring a paper copy of the same thing. The benefit of mobile is being able to use GPS. Same problem with the map of parks.
