Sorry, it’s Gimmicky

With powerups, your score could be +400k; w/o powerups, it’s hard to break 40k. And when the powerups are activate, they take over the game, especially when you have multiple. Kinda surprise its an Editors Choice. The game carries the Tetris name but the evolution doesn’t live up to the original. It reminds me more of the gimmicky games at Chucks Cheese.

There is no balance when it comes to pay to win or wining by strategy. Then again, when is there ever? You have to pay money to get power ups or earn them by leveling up. To level up you need to use power ups. To earn a decent amount of in-game coins, you need to use power ups to win tournaments. To get power ups, you need to spend your coins on power ups to win the coins in the tournaments. But be weary, there are hackers everywhere fighting over that same pile of coins you spent money to spend coins on power ups to buy more power ups to get. (Watch out for Crashes) Doesn't make sense? Doesn't to me either. They trashed Tetris. This game is no more than a "get rich quick" scheme for the company that developed this app. There is NO option to play by skill, and skill alone as Tetris SHOULD be. This game might as well be a virtual casino.

I am totally frustrated with this game.. It crashes every do often or it just runs slow that it stall and you loose valuable seconds.. They are always looking for $ and that's pretty much the only quick way to ever win.. You need special finishers to do anything and the game is set up that you will need to buy the good finishers. And did I say it often stalls and crashes loosing your finishers you tried so hard to get.. And some of the finishers are useless that you could never beat anyone with them.. Enough said.
Phone Kept Crashing

This isn’t a great version of Tetris by any stretch, and my 2-month-old iPhone 8 has crashed repeatedly in the past 4 days since I installed it, always with 80%+ battery remaining. Each time, it seemed like the phone wouldn’t come back on. (This was not even while playing the game or when the app was up in the background, so I had no idea what the issue was at first.) When doing volume up, volume down, power, I had to hold the power button for a minute solid to get the Apple logo to come up, and a couple times it got stuck in a scary boot loop. Checked my data analytics logs and Tetris Blitz shows up a dozen times. Uninstalled! Do not recommend.

I love playing this game, but I am a bit frustrated. I like the idea of earning shards to upgrade power ups, but I don’t feel like the system that is set up is reasonable at all. For example, you can earn about 3-7 shards for playing certain games and up to about 25-30 shards for completing certain activities. However, you need 2,500 shards to upgrade certain power ups. Therefore, it takes several months to earn enough shards for 1 little upgrade. This system needs to be more equitable/reasonable.
Missing supernova Finisher

I’ve won the SUPERNOVA finishers twice in the blitz bonus round and noticed it’s not been updated on my account. I still have 31 when I should have 33. Would appreciate if this can be looked into and my supernova finisher be updated. Thank you. Still love Tetris blitz, but please, my finisher!
