It does the basics, but a few additions would make it SO much better!

I just got the version 3.0 update and was really disappointed. Beyond a pretty redesign, literally the only new function added was TouchID to turn the car on. A few things that really need to be added in the next update are: - Allow cold weather functions to be turned on/off (defroster, seat warmers, etc) - allow me to turn on/off and change the scheduled charge time - allow opening/closing the trunk & rolling windows up/down from the app - allow scheduling an alert if the care is not plugged in, or is below a set range so that you don't accidentally forget to leave it unplugged overnight and can't get to work the next morning. - Allow you to set departure time and desired charge level, and car will calculate when to start charging at night - Schedule charging time and adjust amps from the app Keep up the great work with regular improvements. The app manages the features it supports admirably, but it is noticeably lacking several key features that would seem obvious: * Vehicles equipped with the subzero option should be able to activate the steering wheel and windshield fluid heaters remotely. It would also be convenient if one could control all five seat heaters in the Model. * The app should be able to configure all of the charging options available in the vehicle such as adjusting the amperage, setting a delayed start time and adjusting the maximum charge level. * Given that the app will notify the user of an available software update for the vehicle, it would make sense to also allow the app to trigger or schedule the update (particularly since the user wouldn’t generally be in the car unless they wanted to be driving somewhere at that time, whereas the app could be able to let them fire off the update while the owner is otherwise occupied).

App periodically forgets login information. Useless. No I don't remember your damned login wherever I go, Tesla. Useless app when it randomly and unpredictably becomes inaccessible. UPDATE: still useless. UPDATE: still useless.

Why doesn't this automatically unlock doors upon enabling keyless driving? Please add this feature! Also, when charging, the app shows a different charge rate than the car.
Needs some additional features

Love the app but it could use a few additional features. One that would be nice is a range function that allows u to input your planned driving speed, temparure, load, & AVG wind to show expected driving range. It needs a feature to text me when the car is home but not plugged in!! It is surprising how easy it is to wake away and forget to plug it in. To date it has not limited planned driving but it was close once.
