So I played the first TB for a very long time, at least a year and a half. Needless to say I was excited to see this in the App Store. When you first open the app there is a long installation process but after that it has just as much loading as any other mobile game that is connected to servers. As I looked through the reviews the one thing I see is “game wont load!”. I don’t know what kind of potato phones or dial internet these kids are using but I’ve never had any issues. The first week the game came out it was buggy and there were random crashes but I never had an issue with loading. Tell these kids to ask their parents for a new phone. It might be time to ditch the flip phones :P

This game is really fun. I have played the first Terra Battle for hour and hours. The second, this game, is just a beauty to play. It is some of the most amazing animation and beautiful artwork. More so than the original. The game play is pretty much the same, but this game is not well explained to a beginner. As someone who had plays the first game I understand the mechanics but a lot has changed. In the new Terra Battle a lot relies on gear rather than leaving up your Guardian. Hit points, attack damage and defense is all based on power and leveling of your gear. It took me HOURS to understand that. I wasted a lot of my free early signup items trying to figure how to use them. There very little explanation that tells you how to use all the items. This is what drops it down to 4 stars. The game is definitely for those who like turn based strategies. If you are one of those types who like figure out a system then go ahead. If you are the kind who just wants to mindlessly kill stuff, this game is NOT for you. In-app purchase are disabled for English version and will cause bugs if you have that feature disabled. —————————————————————— In my previous review I mentioned how items/gear was important. So I focused on leveling my gear. I found out that once you “unleash” a weapon it basically becomes useless. It changes it from a weapon that procs on mega to giga. So I leveled something stronger so I could go from using it 80% of the time to 30% of the time? Seems like a downgrade to me. The stats are only slightly better. I call it poor game design. This game is starting to be a lot less fun and a lot more complicated WITHOUT good instructions/fair warning/guidance. (Edited review and dropped from 4 to 3 stars)

I was addicted the first couple days until I ran into the end of the story, very short and not very much side content, although I’m sure this will be fixed with time. The game is difficult if you choose synced play, but not impossible and is good for a rewarding challenge. Some of the mechanics are kind of annoying and buggy but hopefully like I said will be fixed with time. Probably go up in stars as the game progresses and gets better.
Glitchy as hell right now

First game was great. This expansion is great too but way too full of glitches. I recommend not spending money till they fix this game. First week they nerf a bunch of characters people worked hard on. Seems like all they do. Very frustrating when you pay to get more characters only to get them nerfed. Game itself if glitchy as hell too. Their customer service is very responsive but either they have a ton of glitches to work out or can’t fix certain things but somethings don’t seem to get any attention. For example try to finish your battles. Don’t let the app close or you might not be able to resume due to a glitch that makes the screen go black and freezes the battle. Been there for over the a month now. Same some bucks for now till they work out their problems. Game is still as fun as the first one. I enjoy it more than the first one but these problems make the game extremely hard to enjoy.

I can't even start the game, it just sits at the first loading screen... ? I'll change my score when I can log in, heard nothing but great things ab this game.. really wish I could play it....

I would give it a five star but it has hiccups here and there, the most recent which I hope gets fixed, is that it in the story missions and even when i choose a different chapter it won’t let me move my characters out of the battle box. Please fix soon so I can gather more nucleotides!!!?
The game is a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, only 9 chapters of story and how much grind it takes to get your skills boosted in the game is what drags this game down. I really wish there was some quest that would be created to increase your skill boosting potential like the metal zone does for EXP.
