Amazing

Imdps519

Used this app throughout university and it was a life saver! Still helps keep my ear sharp ?

An Absolute Essential

Sinth64

Tenuto is literally one of the best apps on the App Store. If you are looking to hone your music theory related skills through many different customizable exercises, use this app. It's been a staple of my iPhone for several years. musictheory.net is the leading authority in this field. Thank you for making, improving, and maintaining this indispensable tool.

Couldn't ask for more from a music theory app.

First thing you'll notice is the simplicity of the menu. No frills. Gets you right in the action. So much stuff to do without feeling overwhelming. Exercises for keyboard and fretboard. Very fast response, no slow down what so ever. Every exercise I've tried so far has a practice mode and challenge mode. Ear training is fun to use. No complaints whatsoever. Well worth $3.99

Great for all levels

CollegeProfLL

I've taught college-level Music Theory (several levels of proficiency from beginner to advanced) for years, including Ear-Training, etc., and this is a wonderful app for my students for all types of practice, including the advanced levels. One of my favorite things is the Customize feature: you can choose even fairly "obscure" elements such as Tenor Clef and "accidentals of doom" as well as all types of Scale, Chord and Interval Ear-Training (incl. Modes and various 7th chords) which typically are left off the less professional teaching aids. (MusicTheory.net is a great online resource, also). Both thumbs up!

Exactly what I needed

iAmTheWhale

simple, intuitive, fully featured, stable. No fuss, no ads, just an easy way to learn music. <3

Amazing App

Big Henry

I'm not a teacher, but I love using this app to keep my ear training sharp. Also the guitar fretboard exercise is AWESOME. The ability to improve your guitar skills without a guitar in your hand is such a valuable resource. Only adjustment I would make is have the user name specific chords on the chord fretboard exercise, not just chord types. And add bass and mandolin/violin :)

Struggling With Music? This will help.

:Amy:

Countless practice identifying notes, key signatures, and ear training. Not just for piano but also Banjo, Ukelele, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin...etc. I feel like I'm playing a game for music theory. It's great!

Very Cool

I use this app daily due to its ease of use and variety of ear training programs. Can just whip it out whenever a moment and work on my ear on the go. Would love to see an exercise on recognizing chord patterns, similar to tonedear.com!

Nothing better for music theory

Chirobio

Best app on the market. Must have for musicians studying a very difficult subject.
