I loved this game. Its "lack" of detailed plot leaves it open for us to imagine the some of the story for ourselves. Sometimes, this is more powerful than a laid-out story because it is more personal and can hold a special place in our hearts.

This game is absolutely original and creative in terms of game concept and design. I love the atmosphere and music as they are very relaxing and artistic. Perhaps, it is not as great as the game “Monument Valley” in terms of game concept. But, overall this is still a very wonderful game and I am glad I bought it.

This is a hard game to review. First off, it is beautiful, and the folding paper aspect is an interesting way to interact with the environment. The gameplay is akin to a classic graphic adventure game (like myst), but there is no overall story and the puzzles are not particularly clever. The puzzles are neither insane brain teasers nor obvious and intuitive. They just sort of reveal themselves through trial and error and interacting with the environment. It is also quite short but still felt slow and tedious. While I have to give the developer credit for the amazing art direction, I'd love to see them take this proof of concept and turn it into a genuinely good game like Waking Mars or Monument Valley.

The game was ok. The puzzles were easy and simple I could see this game being challenging for young kids but not adults. The music was pretty and so were the graphics. But the game play was short, there wasn't much of a story, and was a little too simple to be worth $5. I would not repurchase this again and I feel cheated out of $5.

Okay I've already beaten this game awhile ago it took me awhile like a week but that's only because I have a toddler and play when I have free time. It was fun challenging but honestly a waste of money. I had no clue what to do half the time or why I was doing it. The game is peaceful but after awhile the music gets annoying and you can't mute it or play your own music. The graphics were great but the character walked so slow like my dad slow which is really slow like sloth slow. It's very annoying. The last update was in 2014 and it's now 2016!! What are you people doing?!?! So yeah don't waste your money not worth it if I didn't have a child could have beaten in 2 hours.

The pop-up book was a great idea, art was lovely, puzzles were challenging without being frustrating… but I wish I hadn't wasted the money. There's only 3 levels (10 would have made the game worth it). I spent a few minutes on the first, maybe 20 mins on the second, and about an hour on the third (it was the least obvious, most challenging one). Done. It would have been better composed as a 'choose your own adventure'-type game with the different pop-ups opening to different points of the story, then requiring you to navigate your way backwards to find a hidden clue… but I digress. I can pay less for a movie rental on iTunes and get more than 90 minutes of entertainment.

This game although beautiful is painfully slow and does not pose any real mental challenge. You simply wander about...slowly until the game guides you to the goal in each level. There are plenty other puzzle games out there that will challenge you...

This was waaaaay to expensive for such a short and pointless game

Tengami is a beautiful game and has some fun puzzles and innovative game play, but it has two major flaws: The game is way too short. From start to finish, the game took me about 45 minutes. Only 20 minutes of that was actual gameplay, because the character takes SO long to walk from one place to another that thats what you spend a majority of the time doing. That said, 20 minutes of fun for $4.99 is incredibly overpriced. I would have been happy paying $0.99 for this, but as it is I'm dissatisfied. Don't buy it unless you have money to throw away.

Paper looks computerized. No realistic texture. Doesn't appear like I can actually touch it. Takes me out of the illusion. Puzzles are meh. Walking takes forever.
