Cannot play downloaded videos

The downloaded videos won’t play when not connected to the internet still, in June 2020. So according to the reviews, STILL after 2 YEARS, they cannot make downloaded videos play when not connected to the internet. So, what’s the point of downloading videos, hoping to see them when on the airline or out of cell coverage? Just be aware out there, no Ted talks for you when traveling.

The reason I’m leaving this review is because I could not find any other way to contact you. I searched the Ted.com website and I could not seem to find any sort of a general contact information. Now to the heart of the matter, I happen to see a video title somewhere so I wrote the info down. When I search in the app, I could not find any videos by that person or with that name, however when I searched using the TED website, your website found the video and gave me the option to open it in the app, which worked fine, and I was able to watch the video. I did read a couple (literally) of reviews before posting this, and I saw your response to another review that older TEDx videos are not supposed to be available in the app, well, the video I am referring to is a TEDx video. A thought, why not return results for videos and if they are not supposed to be available in the app, give a link to where it can be viewed? Also, on a whim I tried to play it on my Apple TV after adding it to “my list”, and it won’t play there, yet it plays just fine on the phone… Your app is extremely frustrating!

The app in not working in my country. I’m a huge fan of ted talks yet can’t watch it in the app! I deleted and downloaded it several times but no luch

Stalled at start. Trashed and downloaded several times. Can u please fix this for iOS 13

It’s 94°F and the humidity is well over 90% today. But my task is painting my sons bedroom and I must get it done. TEDTalks are what’s making that possible. The last one was about the beauty and magnificence of birds and the urgent need to conserve them. Prior to that I was listening to several talks about urban architecture and how we can use it to make our world a better place. I give thanks to all the brilliant lion hearted people giving these TEDTalks and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a little lift to get through the difficult tasks of your day.
App Doesn’t load

I have used this app over the years but the latest version just gives the spinning icon and never loads. I have removed the app, Rebooted the phone and Reloaded the app. Still no dice. I enjoy finding inspiration from the TED Talks but I guess it has to be through a browser for now.
