App that is completely frustrating

Digger H

This is an app that a team requires. They make using the free app so frustrating that you have no choice but to pay for the full version and it’s expensive for what it does and how much you use it. Recurring pop-ups with excruciatingly painful waits, limited details around events. This thing has pretty colors and that is about it.

Love this app for all my teams!

NVfishbio

I’ve been using Teamstuff for years to manage multiple youth teams (football, flag football, basketball and baseball). This makes managing my teams so much easier! I can instantly send out a team message ... way easier than email. It also allows you to create your own team email address which will send your email to everyone signed up on your team. The biggest challenge has been getting all the parents to sign up (some are more tech savvy than others!), but once I’ve got them lined out it’s easy. I’ve seen reviews that say that you have to sign up for Pro for it to be useful but that’s not true ... none of my parents are signed up for Pro and it works fine. I signed up for Pro as the admin just to get some of the upgrades but $5 is pretty darn reasonable for something that Bri gs sanity to team management. I’ve never dealt with the payment function so can’t speak to that. The game and practice calendars are easy to use. Every time I’ve had a problem with anything I just go to their fAQ website and found easy to understand instructions. I’ve even had to email them once when I couldnt figure it and they were quick to respond. If you’re looking for an affordable team management app, i highly recommend this one!

This App is extremely Buggy!

@RobbSportCoat

$5 for pro? Does pro version get rid of the bugs mentioned months ago by previous users? And no updates ? Frustrating

Crappy app.

IOS crashes when click on each profile. Frustrating. Not reliable.

Great App! Needs minor changes.

jwhitsell07

I have been using this app for a few years and several teams. It is a bargain. I gave it 4 Stars only because there is one change I wish it had: in addition to games and training, I wish it had an events option. With team meetings, dinners out with parents and players, and other important dates it would be nice to add them for each team; couple that with duties for those events, add a text feature and this becomes hands down a 5-star app.

What good is this app if I can’t search for my team

Ronbo77

I have the app but I cannot search for our team. Fail.

Makes my life as a coach so easy

Thanks to teamstuff I can easily manage and communicate with my teams!

Notifications

shrtstopshrty

My notifications will not disappear even after I have literally clicked on EVERYTHING inside the app. It is not the easiest app for my players to understand how to use either. Most of them had trouble finding my team page even after I sent them the link.

Very unstable

Jeremiahdbrown

I love the idea of this app, but at least on the user end (i.e. parent, not team admin/coach) it’s very unstable. It’s really difficult to change our status (coming/not coming) and to comment to clarify for the coaches. The comment boxes close mid-word repeatedly and then change the status of a different child and delete the comment I had already fought to save.

Decent app - NOT FREE

NightTrain07

If it’s too good to be true it probably isn’t. In order for the app to be useful - an upgrade to pro is required for each team member. 5.00 per year...still much cheaper than TeamSnap though. **Trying to view stats through iOS crashes the app, so a web browser must be used to view stats.**. Also coachstuff - a paid pro addition is only web based and is ok for adding custom stats. Sometimes the stats won’t change and the team or player must be removed and re-added to reset them. No team chat option- only allows team notifications via email. Aussies don’t know the difference between chat and notifications so leaving feedback for app improvements doesn’t work too well. Payments are only through one option called stripe - PayPal and other options are not available. Overall..this app is ok... has potential to compete with TeamSnap, but falls short in many areas. With sub-par customer service. Crashing issue with stats was reported a month ago with no reply or fix.
