I’ve been accused more than once for depositing duplicate checks according to them. In reality they took my money more like made money off of my account because their app is not capable of telling the difference in check numbers. Their staff completely lost when I called multiple times as to what actually happened with my money and what their app did all on its own. You’re better off going in person inside instead especially if you have you’re own business and have the same constant clients whom give you the same looking check over and over. Don’t use mobile deposit you will wait to dispute for an eternity over phone or in person once they claim it’s their money for a supposedly mistake on your end, believe me they will put off a fight. It’s exhausting.

Really stupid bug, I can’t transfer money to a TCF account. It says routing number is incorrect. During a pandemic they really about to make me drive to a store because of this smh.

App is just as terrible as the bank itself. Takes forever to load up just like it takes them forever to get you paperwork you need.

Everything works decently, however I’ve tried mobile deposit for checks, and it has NEVER worked for me, not even once. Super frustrating. I hate it being a main feature, very misleading...
Making one payment

I only make one payment on this site. It is from my checking to my loan at TCF. It defaults to a random date 8 months ago and makes me try 4-5 times to change it. Half of the time it will not let me make the payment before the due date. If payment is posted on the due date, TCF still takes an additional amount for interest. Terrible website overall. And trying to send this review, it makes you put a nickname or it won’t post. I’ve used numerous nicknames and it tells me that they are taken...try again.
