I’ve been using this app for a while. No complaints aside from every once in a while, charges take a little longer to update.
Between the app/my accounts telling me I need to update when there is none/already did, to my accounts NEVER being correct unless I just stop spending money, to the fact it takes 1-3 weeks for their check deposit via app to process. This is a garbage fire: - Balances are never correct - Login consistently broken, slow, or just buggy - MAJOR downtime (I think in a 3 week stretch, the app was maybe working a total of 4 days total) - NEVER trust the balance you see (yes, I’m saying it again) - It’s possible to get stuck in screens and requires an app quit and restart - Forget support, the numbers are either offline or the wait is over 2 hours (and I’m talking just related to this app, my last wait time for attempting to call in regards for my account was almost 2 ½ hours and I just hung up because I was tired of waiting) - Just because you set your settings in the app, doesn’t mean it actually set (confirmed with TCF bank staff in branch) - DO NOT USE IN-APP SUPPORT, they do not respond (took over a month just to get help with an address change in-app) This is just what I can think of. There is PLENTY more wrong between the Bank and the app.
This was my first time using mobile banking and I did because there was a very long backup of cars waiting to use the drive up window. Apparently there is no inside transactions taking place right now. So crossing my fingers this is successful! But glad it’s an option.
Easy friendly app. I enjoy the teen account you can manage and transfer money to each others account.
Great App easy to use and understand all functions. I cannot figure out how to transfer money to my other banks.
I like this app because it makes it quick and easy to check my balance and transactions. I also looove the widgets that show my balance, etc because I don’t have to open and log into the app. However, I have had an issue several times with the incorrect balance displaying. The running balance is correct, but for some reason the balance at the top of the screen is missing $300. There have been several times that this has happened and freaked me out because I didn’t know where my money went. I also wish I could see more info on pending transactions. There has been an “MC Authorization” for $0 for a couple weeks and I have no idea what it is. There is also another “MC Authorization” for $1.00 today and I have no idea what that one is either.
Ever since TCF was bought out they doubled their fees for small businesses. I’m shopping for a new bank.
