Voodoo Garbage from the Gwyneth Paltrow of Sports

Tom Brady and his shady quack Alex Guerrero set up TB12 to cash in on Brady’s name by selling $80 jump ropes and protein powder at $50/lb. If you get scammed by this, you are and idiot.

pretty good but

Good workout plan, app has issues

There are lots of times when it takes 30+ minutes to download the workout. Also I’ve had to delete the workouts and re-download them because it freezes so often. Love Tom Brady, love the workout plan, but the app needs some fixes.

Great workout app

First, it only does the TB 12 workout so if you are looking for a general workout app look elsewhere. It has a tone of sports specific workouts that use the TB 12 gear which I like. The workouts consist of a rollout, 3 workouts that vary by week and day, and a final rollout. The lady talks you through them so you can listen on an airbud and occasionally glance at at video to make sure you are doing it right. It integrates with health so other apps know about the data. It is a program though so no customization but overall if you want the tb12 workout walkthrough it does the job.

Best Workout program for those over 40

I’m a former professional baseball player, and have had multiple surgeries since playing. Broken wrist, two shoulder surgeries, three knee surgeries, & arthritis in my lower back. In my 30s, I was lifting weights, jogging and cycling which worked great up until that second knee surgery. As I approached my 40s, I would go hiking occasionally, but didn’t seem to find the enough frequency or intensity to stay in shape. At age 45, I committed to CrossFit, and the instructor was great in eased me into the classes. But as the intensity increased, I ended up having a third knee surgery. At age 46, I was left to going for long walks, I would walk a golf course, and I would play ice hockey once a week in and over 40 men’s league. I then had an epiphany at age 48 when I was watching the first Patriots game of the season. How is it that Tom Brady can still be playing at such a high level at age 41? And apparently seem to be as fit as ever and essentially uninjured to the naked eye. I studied the materials on the TB12 Method, and gave it a shot. I am now 3 months into the workout program and this is the best I’ve felt since age 35. I went all in and purchased the vibrating foam roller, vibrating sphere, handle bands and looped bands. I complete my work out in my basement in a relatively small space, and to take the equipment on the road when I travel. I’ve consistently been working out three or four days a week, and I feel worse on days I do not work out. I’ve only lost 10 pounds, but there’s no doubt my BMI is changing for the better, as clothes that haven’t fit me in a few years are now back in the wardrobe rotation. Obviously, I am a huge fan of this program and I am happy to provide this testimonial for others to hopefully get those who have either been injured or sedentary off the couch and into a consistent workout program that can work for them.

Is this really what Tom Brady does?

This app is ok. Not what I would imagine an elite athlete nor one to the playing caliber of the ‘greatest of all time’ would use. I suspect this is geared towards the average joe. Nike Training Club (Apple App Store) or Core Performance is much more challenging and similar.

My favorite workout app

I recently came across Tom Brady‘s book and went to the bookstore and sat down and read the first chapter. It made so much sense to me… Here’s a guy that is 41 years old and is rarely hurt… His constant striving to be longer the muscles to keep them pliable clicked with me. I decided to download the app and give it a shot for one month. I just hit three months strong with the app. At the one-month mark I did not even check in with myself because I was so into the TB12 workouts. You can select what type of athlete you are in it will design workouts for you. When I first started I did overall athlete but then once the ski season began I switched it to skier. If I don’t do these workouts three times a week then my core and body does not feel as strong. I have suffered with low back pain for the past two years and this is the absolute best I’ve felt. What are you especially like about it is that they are not simply telling you some exercises to do, but rather most of the exercises I have never seen before in my life and they look pretty easy but they are so challenging to the core. I think the app does a one week free trial so if you were on the fence commit to doing it three times in the first week and then you can always cancel if you don’t like it.

This review is from a non subscriber who is new to the app. Upon setup the application makes it easy to enter in your first name, height, weight and account information. After setting up your account or logging in users can begin to navigate the interface. Focusing on design of the menu interface the app is easy to use as well to look at with the bright red TB12 trademark color blending in with the white grayish tone. The app is swift when navigating and never sluggish. While providing a wealth of content the app is also never confusing to use. The app provides article and video content in exercises, diets and products to purchase in a integrated format. TB12 provides a free trial as well so it is worth a download for those interested.
