The best notes / list / todo / GTD management app by far

Vitomirm

I tried over 20 apps of this kind and this is the only one that enabled me to go 100% paperless. Very simple yet powerful and flexible. Also I am a heavy GTD user and found Taskmator to be the best app for this purpose. It takes a day or two to master all its functions, but once you do it becomes extension of your brain. The only downside is that it does not work in Android environment. Highly recommended for anyone serious about managing their notes / lists.

Great implementation!

Cromwell

I like the functionality of being able to have TaskPaper on my phone and the integration with reminders. It syncs flawlessly allowing me to move between my Mac and iOS devices. Great job! PS- I like the new icon. ??

Great app for plain-text, ultra-portable todo tracking

EddyGeez!

Title says it all. Using the "taskpaper" format is the best way to ensure you aren't locked in to some third-party and that your data will always be in an easily accessible format. Lots of nice features in this app!

Updates Still Coming .…

Works as advertised. Boolean sorting is awesome. Syncs with .TODO files created on OS X with Sublime Text. Nice work.

Good implementation with room to grow

The.Lone.Ranger

This is a good implementation of Taskpaper, with all of the basic functionality and some pretty cool advanced features, too. Love all of the customization options! I've been looking for the ideal checklist app, and this one could easily become such with a handful of improvement requests: 1- Add a way for a sub-list title to indicate that everything within it is checked off/done (for example, turning gray and/or showing an "x/y" indicator of done/total tasks within it). This would be particularly handy in conjunction with the next request: 2- Make it possible to collapse sub-lists. That way, it's easy to keep a long, multi-section list tidy and work on something near the bottom while still able to see the titles of sections throughout the rest of it. Implementing request #1 would help indicate overall list status/progress at a glance, too. 3- Provide an option to have completed items just turn gray rather than also have the slash through them (for legibility's sake). 4- Bonus: add a way to quickly toggle the status of all items under a title to "Done" or "Not Done." This would be particularly handy for those who reuse a checklist often--cleaning lists, packing lists, end-of-day checklists, etc. (Note: it would probably be best to make it hard to do inadvertently or have it ask "Are you sure?" first, to help people avoid accidentally messing up a half-checked list.)

Files deleted

I’ve been using this app for some time and had liked it until now. After the last update, my Dropbox account was unlinked so I re-linked it, only to find out the next day that the sync process seems to have deleted all files (in the target folder) that are not text files. Good thing I noticed it immediately and was able to restore the files on Dropbox. Now I’m considering removing this app in case the same thing happens again.

Finally, a worthwhile TaskPaper replacement for iOS!

AnalogAficionado

At last, an iOS 8 compatible replacement for one of my most-used apps. Nice incremental updates from the predecessor - looking forward to at least a few more years with one of my favorite apps, hopefully longer. iCloud sync might be nice, though Dropbox will get the job done.

Best list keeper I have found

Cps 1

I love taskmator. I previously used task paper which is no longer supported. So glad taskmator came along. It allows me to keep multiple lists. And the best part is the ability to select an item and drag and click it to make it higher or lower priority on my list. I use the app every day. I wish it allowed me to click a phone number to dial it.

No real sync

run2tunes

Nice improvements over previous version, but 'syncs perfectly' doesn't not include iCloud.

No Problems

Crash on open! Ouch. Fixed by deleting and reinstalling. Now works like a charm.
