Missing integration features.

TouchedByAGroove

Integration to slack and other services aren't available in the mobile app. For efficiency, I really shouldn't have to go to a desktop to link in features that are all related to mobile apps and services. It's a waste of time. If I can do it via the desktop, I should be able to do it from the mobile app.

Huge problem with calendar

papercut tyger

I love the layout and ease of use of this app, but...it all falls apart when I can't assign dates to tasks. The calendar shows random months, the dates don't appear correctly with two running into each other. The only way to assign a due date is by tapping "today" and even then the app programs as it a day back. Very frustrating. Defies the whole point of a productivity and project management app.

Intuitive, visual, effective

I use MeisterTask to organize business and personal tasks across my work Mac, home iPad and iPhone. I've tried several productivity tools over the years, but always reverted back to more manual ways of visually brainstorming and organizing activities. This is the first tool to really "stick" and make me think I'd be lost without it. I have evolved to five "pages" for lists of Business tasks by category, Business agendas by topic, Business 1x1 topics by person, Personal reminders by area of life, and Fun things to do if I ever remember to take a break. I like that I can easily add an item to any of these areas if I take an action item in a meeting or wake up in the middle of the night with an idea. My devices remain synced so I always have the most current version on hand. Each morning I review the main Business tasks and highlight the day's priorities. Periodically I do a thorough review and clean up. I do not use it as a collaboration tool with others. There are a few minor things I would change. You have to open a task to mark it complete, then click another button to archive it, then another to close the task. I would like to be able to do all that with fewer clicks, especially when I'm doing a mass-cleanup. There are colors and icons to provide visual cues for different areas, but I've now used them all and have duplication across areas which undermines the effectiveness. I would like to be able to insert images as well...such as an employee's photo at top of list of 1x1 topics. Overall, I'm delighted with the functionality, quality and user interface.

Great app but need some improvement

Sarguna

Feature to add task due time needed and currently the due date is also broken.

Great for task management

atbarajas

I've been using this alongside the web app for the past few months and I've enjoyed it. Very easy to use and laid out nicely - in some ways better than the web app. Completing and entering tasks is quick, and I enjoy the dashboard showing my priorities. Missing certain features like a filter to see tags or who as been assigned a card, but overall great.

Buggy and slow support

BigFluffins

I’ve tried Meistertask multiple times since it was introduced and always stopped using it because of bugs. I would come back and try again after a few months to find that one bug had been fixed but others were introduced. Recently, I tried to work with support to fix a crucial calendar bug. Support was slow to respond, and when they did, they often seemed like they didn’t really care or want to hear what the problem is. I sent in multiple screen shots and explanations as to how the bug was happening. When Meisterlabs released an update, the bug WAS STILL THERE AND HAD GOTTEN WORSE. It’s breaks the calendar picker so dates were confusing to pick. For example, the today date would disappear from the calendar and the app would select the previous day as “Today”. Also, the calendar would say March when in fact the month was April. As a pro subscriber (mistake), I received an email from the owner of the company, saying he was happy I subscribed and if I ever needed anything to just respond to the email. Well, I wrote him an email explaining my experience with the bug and asked they they would refund my pro subscription, due to the calendar bug and the fact that I just couldn’t trust my info with their software. I got no response. I cannot and will not recommend Mesiterlabs products. So sad that I am out the subscription fee for a busted product. I would be more than happy to remove this review, if the owner would respond or offer a refund, but until then STAY AWAY.
