Target is free iOS app published by Target

It won’t let me add a Red debit card. It asks for my PIN, but gives me an error that the expiration year I entered is invalid. So I enter the year and it tells me the month is invalid.

The checkout process is fast and magical using my RedCard. It's also very quick to add items to CartWheel. Double saving. Bam.

Be aware that when you use the app when it thinks you are in the store it will not display the often cheaper online price, but will show the store’s price. I found a nice furniture piece in the app at home, went to the store to buy, wanted to check the app again to verify the price she nice the shelf didn’t match, and it showed the more expensive of the two. Turned off location services for the app and the cheaper online price showed up. That’s a very sneaky practice, Target. I’ve since told all I can to revoke location access for this app. Also, the Cartwheel integration is nowhere near as usable as the old app.

This version of the app is very buggy in fundamental areas: signing in (getting stuck on the page), adding a RedCard to your wallet (“unexpected error”), etc. All things that should have been tested before this got on the App Store. It’s just not ready.

Love this new app. It is easy to use and so convenient to have everything in one place.

I really like the new mobile wallet system, however: please add the ability to pay off my Redcard credit card balance through the app. Every other major credit card company has a mobile app that allows you to make payments.

This app hardly works for me. I miss the cartwheel app, I never had issues with that.
