Not good

jj1548

Very inaccurate and often interrupts measuring with a screen wanting you to buy the Pro version.

Don’t listen to the positive reviews

Sleepy_Blues_Man

This company must be paying people to submit positive reviews for this app. One reviewer had the audacity to say that his four stars were justified because of the INTENT, saying “remember, AR is in its infancy,” as if this justifies the reason this app doesn’t work. If a car only crashes half the time, does it warrant good reviews because it’s boasting a new braking system? Come on. This app doesn’t work any better than any of the others out there. And I don’t expect that it ever will. You could use a square to judge the height of something more accurately using a square the Pythagorean Theorum than you could using this app. Vertical measurements are ballpark at best, so what’s the point of the app? Someone guessing the measurement of something would serve the same purpose as this app. And reading the other reviews and the response of the developer, many of them are copy and paste responses, and the others are excuses about how they haven’t worked out the bugs yet and how you have to be in broad daylight to get an accurate measurement, and the fact is that, yes, this app has a LOT of bugs, and measuring in broad daylight doesn’t add any more accuracy than in a measurement made indoors. I placed a piece of wood in a specific link outdoors in brad daylight — a bright day — measured the same piece of wood three times, and for three different measurements, with a difference of up to five inches, depending on where I was standing when I made the measurements. Using the Pythagorean Theorum, this company should make use of someone’s height when calculating the height of something, and I’m sure you could use the same formula for vertical measurements as well. But using the app by itself is practically useless for anything other than a very broadly general estimation of a measurement. I would also like to note that this company is selling the same app twice in the App Store, misleading people into thinking it is a different company. At any rate, your estimation of a measurement wouldn’t almost certainly be a closer estimation of a true measurement than this app could provide.

Fraud Alert

consumer advocate 12345

This app doesn’t work. Pure Fraud. After starting the free trial they charged my 24.99 twice, even after I cancelled. Total junk. Never download a app that is not clear about the cost, or has free trial. It is a total scam because the know most people won’t know how to unsubscribe on time. Apple should pull this from the store. Don’t be fooled. I emailed the developer multiple times with no response. Give me my money back.

It’s not accurate

Dick_Kersey

I took a measurement of 23.5 inches with it on an item that is actually 25.5 inches. Just saying.

Name the price please

PleaseDoBetter

I Give 4stars for free version. I was ready to sign up for 3day trial, but don’t see what the full price is...ANYWHERE! So, that makes me skeptical to purchase it. The price could be $200 or $2! Disappointed bc I like what I see so far and in need of a measuring app. *sigh*. If developer dispenses with stealth marketing tactic, then I will revisit my decision...until then my search continues......

Doesn't detect planes
