Unless you have a ridiculous amount of light, this app works like garbage. Jumps all over and far from accurate.

This app is really nice, I used it to do some measurements in my bedroom and was surprised with the accuracy it has. It is true you’ve got to move your phone around a little so it gets enough data points for an accurate tracking. Keep it up ! ?
Nice AR demo but not better than guesstimating by eye.

Be aware, the first time I tried this app, I discovered than none of the AR apps were working on my iPhone 8 for some reason. After a quick google search I tried rebooting the phone and it worked fine afterwards. I don’t know if this will happen again or was because it was the first time I had used the capabilities of arkit.

This app should be used more as an approximation and not as a real tool. I measured using this app and a tape measure and this app was off by two inches. Still like the app, but it’s no different than “eye-balling”.

Measured several objected. Didn’t even get close. Either it doesn’t work or the instructions are less than intuitive. Either way, it doesn’t come close to replacing a tape measure.
Not accurate.

Sometimes it would get the measurements correct. Times it was out by inches. It was easier to get the tape measure out to make sure.
