Worked great for one day, now it never loads on my watch, only able to play on my phone which is way less cool. Please fix!!

I really loved this app at first and the fact that it connects with my Apple Watch. However, I took care of it on my watch and apparently didn’t sync with my phone and it died. The app didn’t even alert me on my phone. Really disappointed

The phone version is exactly like the original tamagotchis. I was hoping to play this mainly on my Apple Watch but it’s quite different. There’s no animation. The tamagotchi doesn’t move. It’s basically just a picture of it. You don’t get to see it eat or even move around on the screen. The menu layout isn’t the same as the original either. I feel like the Digital Crown could have been put to good use in navigating the original menu. I’m slightly disappointed in these couple of issues, but overall it’s not a bad game. If you’re not going to play it on the watch, I definitely recommend it even just for nostalgia.

Just like the real thing, except for a fraction of what they go for now. The only thing missing is the P2/ second generation characters (which would be okay as DLC or a second app). Also a separate app for the Angel and Monster versions would be nice ;) Edit: Just FYI but the text for the Apple Watch notification isn’t translated (still in Japanese). Not a big deal though.

Classic game. Low reviews probably from people “going retro”. This is exactly how I remember. I wish there were more versions of this on the App Store like there diff versions of this in real life. Get this if you remember it as a kid. It just feels good to have!!! I had a small soldiers Tamagotchi. Me and cousins also had dragon type tamagotchi that u could raise to battle each other.

If there were more mini games to play with my tamagotchi, that would be nice. They should add more. Also please add a feature to interact your tamagotchi with other tamagotchis! Update: the tamagotchi is so needy and dies within five minutes. I wish you could pause the game. With the original toy, you could pause it and it wouldn’t die after five minutes.

I mean in the beginning it looks great but then you start remembering all the pieces it’s missing. I wish it would at least be like Connection V1 or V2. It’s just lame. Hope it’ll get updated to this time.

I really like this app. I played with a Tamagotchi some when I was a kid, but never got into it. I got this because I wanted a fun game for my new Apple Watch, and it works brilliantly. The only problem I have with it is that there's no way to set the time. With a physical Tamagotchi toy, you can reset the time to whatever you want, but this app removes that function. Normally, setting the time based on your phone's time would be great, but I work night shift so I'd like the option to swap AM/PM. As it is, the poor critter is awake while I sleep and asleep most of the time I'm awake. Please add time setting functions! This would make it a lot better for folks like me who don't have a "normal" schedule.
