The new bookmark feature is great! It is now my official text-to-speech app for English. I hope the developper adds more languages like French and Spanish. It is great!

Uncommonly creative nickname
I use these type of applications to read informational and/or research documents to me while I'm at work (basically to multitask). This app allows me to effortlessly copy as long a document as desired into the reading space. The voice is superior to many other similar apps that I've tried and does a decent job of pronunciation. It also allows me to pick up where I left off after putting my device away (as any worth-while app would, in my opinion) and then save the document that I just listened to--excellent! In addition, you can change the reading speed and font size. This is definitely my app of choice! Well done, Chris!
Works with ease
A life saver
I purchased this app to show to a dear friend who has ALS (Lou Gherigs disease). She can no longer speak or eat at all! This app has given her a voice again. Within two days of "playing" with my iPad she had her own! This app has been a miracle for her. She can now have a conversation in the car with her husband and make phone calls to her kids and others. Prior to this she was writing on a little white board. Although in time her muscle dexterity in her hands will deteriorate I am hopeful she will still be able to use her iPad and "talk to me text to speech". A huge thank you to it's creators.

Well done. One of the best ever for text to speech recognition app. Loving it, as it has been such a great help with research paper reading while providing me the flexibility to my continue with my research. The word enunciations are simply fantastic.

I wish it was a good one and moved from Magnet. This app gets stuck for no good reason. It DOESN'T save the last point reached so you will lose it and have to start all over or just scroll and there is no way this is usable. Also the user interface is funky and unclear. Not responding quickly or not responding at all. I wouldn't buy this. I actually wonder if I can get my money back ;-(
Speaks the typos

The best feature of this app is that it speaks each word as you type. With other apps as well as the speak function built into the iPhone you have to finish the phrase or sentence, then tell the device to speak. Problem is that the app speaks your typos. That defeats the beauty of the app. Plus, there are only two voice options, male or female, and they don't enunciate too clearly. Check out "Speak It."
