Incredible

O8 the Shadow

10/10 for nostalgia 8/10 for gameplay 9/10 F2P 19/10 engaging story Bamco did it right when they put together a balance of passive and active play for events. There is always something you could be doing to improve and the community is amazingly helpful.

Looking forward to it!

Just downloaded in about 20 seconds. The concept of the game, along with the character selection--heroes from the long-running, broad context- and subject-spanning "Tales of... " series. I give it a four for just that, and I'll change it to five, if it's well-executed, which doesn't seem unlikely, coming from Bandai Namco.

amazing game

magilou

this game is one of the few reasons why i haven't killed myself yet so it's a winner in my book.

Really good

Walimammoth

Really good game but the problem is that it takes a while to get fifty hero stones and is frustrating when you get no five star or good heroes other than that this is a really good game

Addicting Matching game with A+ RPG ip behind it

Ralphykins21

If you love the Tales series from Bamco then no question you will love this series. If you haven't played a Tales game then you're in luck because the gameplay is solid enough to keep you interested. It's a basic matching game that features RPG/strategy elements. The late/mid game content is accessible to free-to-play players and you aren't left behind vastly by those who do pay-to-play. The developers work hard to update new content and events every week, even partnering up with other Bamco games. The art work is stunning and the voice over taken from the original Japanese games.

App size is a complete lie, didn't even get to try it

Every other game also does an update after you download it. But do all of them take up over 1gb the user wasn't expecting to use up? No. Deleted, thanks.

Seriously love this game!!! :D

I love the "Tales of" series so much. This game is an awesome extension of those, it does an awesome job of creating a story that's best suited to play on your mobile phone where you can bring all your favorite "Tales of" characters together. It also does a great job of giving you pretty good heroes at a good pace too. The actual fights themselves are like a neat kind of Bejeweled or Candy Crush type deal. Some of your heroes show up on the left side with a triangle, circle, square, star, or heart symbol beneath them, which you have to connect them to chain together their attacks or healing skills while the rest of your units are waiting in a queue that show up at random, whereas the symbols that are up next, you can see in the top left corner. Then once you've reached the end of the main story quests I guess you'd call them, (they're just called quests on the bottom menu), there are always awesome event dungeons to play through to get exclusive heroes/weapons/items to further strengthen your arsenal of heroes! And they're always coming out with new ones, like a New Year's Escort version of Guy, Summertime Charm version of Milla, or Rose while she's in her Wind Shepard form for example! (My three favorite ones I've collected so far lol) In that I'd say it's got great replay value that keeps you coming back for more, so I'd definitely recommend this if you love collecting units and of course since the units you collect are heroes from any "Tales of" game!

Black Screen

FTWUndeadSlayer

Hello there BANDAI Namco Entertainment Inc. I need some customer support about Tales Of Link every time I do the Data Download after the Tutorial there is just a black screen and the music it plays. Is there anyway to fix this problem? I have played this game in the past and it has never done this. Any type of support would be greatly accepted. Thank You

Decent

Wow_screenies

The fights are like a mix of candy crush meets final fantasy. You level pretty quick and progress easily. I did an even quest which was very hard and my party died so I used "hero stones" to basically Rez and keep fighting. After like 11 stones I finally killed to two bosses. And the chest opened and I got an error screen. I lost all those hero stones and got no loot. Not worth my time to keep playing.

Great

It's a Tales game what more you could ask for yes it needs some improvement but I say it's a really decent game for an iOS one
