English voicing and translation errors

I think the game is charming and fun and all but I lost quite a bit of interest quickly because there are still many translation errors and the Japanese voice acting just annoys me. If the game didn't have translation errors and had actual English voice acting rather than just English text I would enjoy the game a great deal more.

This game is fun and worth a try, do keep in mind if you are looking to be strong within the first week that's not how it works. At most give it a month before you'll be able to clear all the hard end content. Join the Reddit community they are a big help! From Tsuna

I wasn't really expecting much when I downloaded it. So to my surprise, it became very enjoyable game after learning the ropes and trying to get rare characters.

I didn't know what to think of this app at first, figuring maybe it was fam made. I'm a major fan of the tales series and have played most of the games. Realistically some of the controls take a little while to get used to and figure your way around but this is everything I would want out of a tales game in a phone app form! From one tales fan to the next, it's definitely worth checking out.

Played the intro. Graphics aren't great, especially the special effects. Thankfully this was free but there are other similar games available with the same concept but more in-depth gameplay and better special effects and graphics.

I really like this game, it has a story and you can collect all the "tales of" series characters and it is the only "tales of" game on the App Store.

Wonderful characters, difficult to get them

I love the way the characters from all of the series interact together, and I really enjoy the concept of them game. However, unless you have a decent healer, you can't get far without using hero stones, which can be difficult to obtain. The packages full of heroes that will restore 10,000 or 15,000 hp are helpful, but seemingly impossible to achieve. You have to save up 50 hero stones in order to use the pack before it is gone, which is pretty much impossible unless you buy the hero stones. When you finally have enough, the chance that you'll actually get a useful character is extremely slim, so you basically end up wasting your money for nothing. The bosses and even regular monsters when you reach around level 50 in the game take away too much HP too quickly, and unless you have a decent healer, which is extremely difficult to get, you might as well not even try. I feel that the characters should have stronger abilities to be in proportion with the enemies.

LOVE the game, HATE the crashes

I'm a big fan of the Tales series and this game is a lot of fun! It's well-designed and there's always plenty of fresh, exciting content. HOWEVER, this game is extremely grind-intensive so it's incredibly frustrating that the app crashes practically every time I clear a stage. And then, when I reload the app and have to do it again, sometimes the artes don't activate and I lose the stage I had literally just cleared before the app crashed. If it weren't for the crashing I'd give this app 5 stars.

Great game that players need to be patient and stick to for a while

This is a pretty good game that offers a lot of free hero stones to use for the gachas. The game works by linking tales characters in chibi form to attack enemies while also giving them elements and guardians to use. The type of element you use is very important as you could take in 1.5 damages from bosses with a bad element corresponding to them. New units are obtained from gachas or through clash events which can then be limit broken if you have a hawk or additional copy of the unit. Clearing the current chapters will get you at least 400 hero stones for free with a basic party and set up. An additional 200-300 with an advance party to clear the rest of the story chapter till more comes out. How you spent the stones I which gacha is up to you but getting ones with healing units is useful if not then just wait for better gachas in the future. They always have a new one about every week-10 days. There is always an event going on and special story skit events give you even more hero stones and good gear sometimes! They even give you enough time to farm clash units with good stats to add to your party. The problem with the game is that it crashes a lot even though it's somewhat of a grindy game. Healing has been nerfed so it might be hard for beginners to survive at first or progressing through harder stages. Lucky players that try the beginners summon could potentially get Kratos who can attack and heal. It also consumes a lot of time to keep a high rank in Soul Arena to just get a good mystic rate along with the units and some folks may just not have the time for the grind that comes with it. However once they obtain that finisher it can help to complete the advance stages and Ares Realm. Def reccomend for Tales of fans, though some units may be unfamiliar as not all the mothership titles cane overseas. It can take some time till players can grow their units and gain better equipment but the game is a slow burn, just check in every once in a while and do the events they present to gain good gear.

I hope you have a LOT of good luck before you even consider playing this game because you're really going to need it to get the hero you want. And all the stages are either way too easy or ridiculously impossible. (Most of them being the latter) It's great that they give you so many free hero stones for summoning, but there's no point if they never give you any 5-stars to begin with. I've had no choice but to roll with the same team for 5 months because I never get any good heroes anymore, but now it's super weak compared to everyone else at my rank. Everybody now has a hero with a leader skill that increases attack by 2x and I still have a pathetic 1.6x. To be honest, I don't know why I'm still playing this garbage. Any other similar game will at least give good return even if you're unfortunate.
