Needs updating, Homekit Integration

Functional and thought these were neat at 11 months ago when I first bought them, but app has barely been updated. One of my bulbs (out of 6 bought at $50 each) doesn't get recognized anymore. Price has come down to $42 each on Amazon. App on s VERY ugly and needs a makeover: very un-Apple like. Finally needs to be updated for iPad integration (still iPhone only) and Homekit support. Will increase rating when above improvements are made.

Light bulb is a good idea! But… the soft wear is weak… A 2 party mode bad - music - why don’t use iTunes playlist???? and the colour ???? Romance mode… weak color, Relaxation mode likewise… i miss full RGB colour change!!!!

The app is not very good. The bulb is amazing, but the app need some serious work done to it, first the reconnecting issue. When ever i want to exit the app the light bulb disconnects and when i want to go back to the app to change something, it reconnects and is not very convenient. Also the music sync feature is NOT as good as it can be, Having to have the app open just to have the music play is a HUGE draw back to me because if i try to check twitter or something, the music turns off. It is very annoying. Also i dont know if this is just me, but when i play the music it only plays the left channel (can only hear the stereo sound of the left speaker) that is also very annoying because it doesn't sound right. Also the all looks VERY cheaply designed and is not very appealing. There should also be an ipad app (i use my ipad for the bulb and the apps appearance is very ugly on the big screen). So if you can fix these issues i would change my review of the app. But the light bulb is very very nice and i would recommend it if the partnering app was good. (Update) I can't even connect to the bulb anymore.

I was considering purchasing the LuMini bulb until I found that the app's interface was not only glitchy but ugly. It gives off a very iOS 6 vibe and is just unpleasant to look at. Seeing that the website for these products is very modern it is a major let down that they didn't do the same for the app. I'm sure this app does what it is supposed to do (some of the time from what I've heard from other reviews), but I will not purchase any of these products until the app is optimized for iOS 7/8+
App doesn't work with iOS 9 update!

I just downloaded the iOS 9 update for my iPhone 5, and the Tabu Lumen app no longer opens, or crashes instantly. Please update the app right away! The app needed updating before this new iOS, but now it has lost all usability.

Worked good before, now the app won't open and lightbulb is no different from a cheap $2 bulb at the store. Please update app.

This doesn't work anymore with the newest iOS update. Defeats the entire purpose of having this thing. Need to get an update quick or I'll be contacting the company for a refund.

The color features of the bulb cannot be accessed without the app. This app does not open with iOS 9.0. This is a fatal defect. This app needs to be fixed immediately.
