I love this channel on TV and was happy to know the App was available to watch anywhere. It’s great but I can’t watch live...Please fix!!!

Video stops every few minutes

It’s very annoying especially when trying to watch live tv. I’ve updated, restarted the app and same issue.

Hi there. I am running IOS 11.4.1 on an iPhone SE with no other issues. I go to sign in to my tv provider (xfinity) and can type in my info but the Sign In button is not a button at all. Nothing happens when I touch it and at most I can copy paste the words but it doesn’t seem to be attached to another link to anywhere. So I can’t sign into my account and therefore the app is kinda pointless. Not sure if this is a known issue or what but I made sure to update my phone and the app to the most recent versions and restarted my phone before writing this review - so I assume other people are having the same issue. Please help me watch Channel Zero!

I’m sure I wasn’t the only person appeased by this but I am very grateful that NBC decided to heed my plea and make the previous episodes of Killjoys available to us! Since they helpfully emailed me about it, I’ll take a moment to believe that they might have heard me. In any case, I appreciate this and the SYFY wire app for my nerd news and viewing. Thanks!

Does not play any episodes on ipad

This app does not play episodes at all on ipad. It only seems to play live stream only. it is useless if you want to watch any episodes of a show, it does not start to play at all even when you select an episode to watch, it never works. I wish they would fix this issue.

What is the point of letting us see a few episodes of a season of a show? I like to watch the previous season of Killjoys before the new season comes on, since it isn’t available ANYWHERE to stream and it expired a whole month early on Directv’s demand viewing. I’d hoped it be available here. I’m giving 2 stars for the platform, and ease of use, but the content really needs some work.

Movies won’t load

I really enjoy using the SYFY app, not to mention with shark-week approaching, however after the latest update I’ve noticed that when I click on the SYFY movies in the menu section they won’t load, I can’t watch any films now or even see what’s available because it just keeps buffering and buffering, movies always loaded and played fine before the update... please fix this issue!

Trying to watch the expanse, will only let me watch 5 latest episodes and only clips of previous seasons. Have an active cable account.

Frequent long ads

My DVR cut off the end of a show so I got this app to watch the end. While jumping through the show to find where I ended, I had to watch like 3 or 4 ads each time I jumped ahead. Even if I only watched like 3 seconds of the show. Please add some logic to the ads to allow better jumping around a show. In the end, I watched over 7 minutes of ads to watch what only ended up being about 30 seconds of the end of a show.

Small screen format, commercial overload

Make it for the full screen for one, then you start commercials at different intervals. They start at about 9mins then the last one I watched was at the 4 min mark. You do it in descending order of show time ratio. It’s awfully bad, I like the content, but commercials make me look elsewhere first.
