I was logged out yesterday and when I tried to open the app again, it couldn’t find my email and forced me to open a new file. The new app no longer gives to the front and back distances, why is that. I had over 52 rounds saved on my other file and had a 12 handicap. I was considering upgrading but not now, what happened? Please respond, I have recommended this to many friends and they have upgraded for only two dollars, this new on wants 4 dollars a month. Too much. You can call me at +15133680581
So so accuracy and it kills battery life

I’ve been using this app for years and recently upgraded to premium but recently (maybe after an update - not sure) the accuracy has gotten much worse. Sometimes I can’t get a read at all. I always play the same course so that’s not an issue. I always close all other open apps but all of a sudden using the app runs my battery all the way down by the end of a round. I was very happy with the app for a very long time but it has become much less reliable than it used to be.
Club selection not working properly

Unable not select the clubs I loaded into to system on green putter not available on sand wedge or lob wedge. After tracking a club and selecting a new club the distance tracker fails to change and applies new distance to previous club making reading incorrect example selecting 3 wood after driver shot distance is applied to driver.
Apple Watch glitches

Tried a hundred times and the darn thing won’t work consistently with the watch. It’s always glitching and that’s frustrating. If there is an update I’m missing please advise. Love the app otherwise
Tees missing

How do we add Tees and ratings/Slopes? I hate getting to a course grabbing my club firing up swingU, only to see the Tees im playing aren’t an option on SwingU or the rating/slopes/yardage is off...how do we add this info?
More like SwingUseless.

I hate to leave this review. I’ve been using the app for about 4 years and have recommended it to countless friends and family members. It really was the best FREE golf tracking app under the Swing X Swing name. Even though the new name is slightly less dumb, the latest updates of SwingU only serve to reduce functionality and impose even more distracting, battery-killing ads. My iPhone 6s battery used to last 2 days (and still does without this app running) but now it shuts down at 15% battery remaining in the middle of a round. I know this app is the culprit because I routinely have to shut everything else down at hole 1 or my phone won’t be around for a yardage on 17/18. This was never an issue before the animated in-use banner ads, and has been noticed on friend’s phones as well (both iOS and android), along with blank screens and a laggy interface. However, the nail in the coffin was the removal of the “shot tracker” without notice, despite SwingU’s promise to maintain “all of the great GPS & scorecard features you’ve become accustomed to (update 6.0.5)”. Tracking is now a “premium only” feature that is easily circumvented by doing math (lame), but used to be the main feature I’d show off to convince others to download the app for themselves. I’m sure the money they’ve made in the process is worth my dinky one star review, but I’d rather put my money towards a rangefinder that works without crappy cell service (common around courses in rural, mountainous NC/SC) than pay money for Gary Gilchrist’s beginner tips or worthless club recommendations. Good luck SwingU. I’ll be using the un-updated version on my business phone while I research the best new FREE app.

Added as a question: Will Swing U be updated to calculate handicaps when the rules change in January? I've used this app for over a year. It has consistently given me accurate distances, accurate contact info, and great overview looks at courses. Highly recommended. The latest update crashed. However, a reload fixed the problem.
