GPS tracking

Ratanoman

Is it possible to track my go’s location based on the iWatch location vs where the phone is? Often I leave the phone in the cart so it charges. Thanks

This is a great app. Thanks

Cannot download latest update

jvringb

I have used swing u for several years with minimal problems. Today I tried to update the app on my iPhone thru the App Store but the update icon just spun and never finished. I deleted the app from my iPhone and attempted to download the updated version but cannot do so. The normal “get” or iCloud image does not appear. Solution? Golf season starting soon so fix is needed.

Great app!

I like the app but...

This app has been great. I have kept my range finder at home because the distances and suggestions have been a life saver. The only suggestion I would have is in the stats of the hole could you put a place on how many wedge shots you needed to get on the green. As someone working on his short game, this stat would help me out.

Keeps stopping using Apple Watch

ozstrand

Works fine on my iPhone but I bought the watch so I wouldn’t have to keep taking my phone out to see yardage. It keeps stopping on my watch and I have to take my phone out and restarting the app to get the watch to work again

Highly recommend

Tough to rely on

You’ll need a strong cell signal for it to work consistently for 18 holes. It has crashed out on me regularly in frisco tx. There is a strange default to using “always” for location that absolutely kills an iPhone 11 battery in 11-12 holes. It even drained my battery while it was using a usb charger during a round. The elevation data is pretty straightforward, but the wind data seemed to update in a delayed fashion, I am guessing it updates every 10-15 minutes. Some shots, wind is clearly howling and app reflects that and gives you a good “plays like” yardage, but there are too many readings where the wind is clearly not as shown in app- like a flat flag and it’s showing 20 mph indicating the wind readings are not real-time, and the “plays like” yardage can be off by 20-30 yards. Maybe it’s just Texas winds...but the advertised accuracy taking into account wind and elevation, which is why I purchased, is simply not reliable. Disappointed and would take a refund if offered.

Pretty solid

Pretty solid app. Few issues with distances on short holes that have drastic elevation difference from tee to green. Also would be nice to get an Apple Watch complication. But all in all it’s useful.
